I think Turkish Air is better option for me than Egypt Air and Etihad because of the less layover. The difference is just 32,000

I just got a mail that my application has not been straight forward and cannot be treated within the target time line. What could be the reason for this please?
I uploaded:
Passport, TB Cert, BSc. Cert, Transcript, IELTS, Account Statement (GBP), Utility bills of my proposed accommodation etc. I've already paid the school fees in full have complete maintenance fee.

I honestly don't get it. I've got a number of relatives and I'd be living with one, even though I have my complete maintenance fee and I've paid my full tuition. Funny thing is the mail of app not being straightforward came on the 5th working day and since then, it's been complete radio silence. Today is my 15th working day however, so fingers crossed.

Please any info on how to get his refunds. My dependant was denied application for more than 6weeks yet no refund. I have sent email. No reply and I have called the no on the website and the lady said I should contact the immigration nigeria office. Pls who has an idea of phone lines to speak to towards refunds.

That's particular to my own application, you don't need any utility bills. You should have somewhere in my mind to stay till you get a more permanent accommodation though

Its no matter of certain questions keep recurring.
UK interview has a pattern to their questions in exceptional cases some more are added, but these are the basics.

If the applicant does not file an administrative review in 21days, it will be automatically refunded btw 4 - 6wks so you should expect it in few days.
Please note you are only getting IHS refund not application fee refund, plus UKVI can't do nothing about it.

I will be staying at one of the private student accommodations close to my uni. But i will like to see the space first.

Yes it still at received at DMC...but I also know that they may have processed it and still not transferred to VAC... I just want to know status

I did my own on Monday as well, Ikeja VAC. Priority

From what I have read so far, we should be expecting something by Monday or Tuesday.

Just because they said 5 working days doesn't mean it's exactly that 5 working days

I ve be tracking my own and it's still on the third stage, hopefully by Monday something positive will come out

I also did my biometrics same Day but used super priority, I got the application not straightforward mail, was scheduled for phone interview yesterday but they didn't call me, they just sent me an email that i should be at Ikeja on Monday morning for Skype interview.I think you should just be calm.God will work it out

Thanks. This denial was since October 20th. The applicant has even reapplied and is currently in the UK.

Nobody refunds visa application fee and value added service fee if denied or takes a long while.

Not necessarily. They seem to be overlooking so many things nowadays. I made a mistake with my son's application, I wrote his last passport number instead of the current one. I cancelled the application immediately and did another, paid and they got the visas. like 3 weeks after, I got application fees payment refunded, oya pay IHS, no show. 6th week, I had to pay £5+ again to send them a mail. They responded and apologized and said I should get it in 15 working days.. I responded and told them the fund was needed urgently. 298k+ hanging for almost two months...
Same way I paid for priority and still waited for 15 days more. The things we are made to go through in the Country ehn...

this is exact situation I am into now....asked to come for skype interview on monday too and i used super priority since 13th of December

Nope. They are not overlooking nada.
You got a refund because you cancelled the application BEFORE biometrics.

Hello Pals,

I will do tuberculosis test on the 27th December and apply for Ukvi afterwards and I still want to do standard visa, because I don't have money for priority.

Please I want to know if I am safe.

My school resumes on 27th of January with extension period til 17th of February.
