Is there a designated central business district ,and are there zoning laws and building codes on what to build and where? All I see on the pics are houses and structures littered everywhere. Some structures may have to be demolished later .

With the Awka millennium city, I am not sure but with the Enyimba economic city, Geometric power plant will supply them power. They have already signed power purchase agreement with Enyimba Economic City company. I read all the plans carefully.

I am yet to find and read any detailed plan for Awka Millennium city when it comes to their power supply.

Though it's virtually thrice as costly, if we're looking at truly meeting up with the modern times as is obtainable in America etc then this new cities should be designed with a consideration to Undergrounding. Most modern cities don't have power lines hanging overhead. It's outdated.

Dubai is a whole country's effort at modernization. Enyimba industrial city is a Public-Private Partnership.

Anambra's Internallly generated revenue is $17 Million dollars. Anambra receives $15 million dollars per month from Nigeria ,that's a total of $32 Million dollars .What exactly can you do with that? I previously wrote a short article on why Nigeria is poor country and may not develop anytime soon, and I still stand by my word.
