Hello people... I don’t want to be the bearer of bad news but why are people advising ielts people who unfortunately missed clb9 or 10 by failing reading or listening to ask for remark? This is Nigeria even writing remark it’s not every time they even look at it talk less of changing the scores. (if u know u know) the instances were they were changed were at the beginning when ielts started in Nigeria don’t waste ur money sharply register again and smash it pls. Sorry if I hurt any ones feelings that might be on this table but people who have written this exam multiple times will tell you the truth keep ur EOR money and retake the test...my 2 cents sha. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Hello @Erigo23! No one specifically advised the OP to remark reading or listening. He/she pleaded not to be discouraged and asked for any success story/case. He/She is already aware of the extremely low odds of a change and begged not to be reminded of them. Erigo23: 1 Like |

I used the same link to book my appointment. I guess something is wrong with the link at the moment. I'm afraid you'd have to call them on Monday to book your appointment since they don't work on weekends Becca01: |

Steather: This is false. The CIC website advises that if you're in the pool and your score isn't high enough, you can improve on it. This includes getting a higher score on IELTS, sitting that French language exam, getting another degree etc. Let us not post misleading information here 4 Likes |

I assume you didn't understand what he's saying. If the IELTS result is being remarked, you can't use that result until the remarking is completed. Because, at the point of being re-evaluated, you don't have any result, and the outcome may be different. Silversurfer1: 6 Likes 1 Share |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by EyesondPrize: 5:38pm On Dec 21, 2019 |
Yeah true. But you are the one posting the misleading information. He/she can’t use the result until the outcome of the remark is released. Silversurfer1: 6 Likes |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Silversurfer1: 5:42pm On Dec 21, 2019 |
NaijaGoingMaple: This is also incorrect. Your current results remain valid until there's a change in your remarked scripts. If one of the scores is increased, then the old result becomes invalid and you're given a new result. If the result remains unchanged, then your current results remain valid. Remarking doesn't affect the validity of your current result 6 Likes |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by NaijaGoingMaple: 5:59pm On Dec 21, 2019 |
On both occasions, you were wrong. "During the period of remarking your test results cannot be used to apply for a university or to be sent to an immigration office." The post wasn't about the result being invalid during remarking, as there was no reference to that. Silversurfer1: 6 Likes |

Yes. It's temporarily not available to be used for anything during this period until you get either your old TRF or new if any changes. ednut1: 3 Likes |

NaijaGoingMaple: Can you provide a link to the bold bit? I just perused BC's website and the EOR form and saw nothing of the sort. The only part I saw was you should hand in your TRF when you request a remark. I requested a remark of my results and I only handed in the old one when my score was increased. Mind you, I had already created my EE profile with the old result whilst awaiting the decision of the remark. If you can't use a result, that means its invalid. The result, per the BC website, is forwarded to the institutions you're applying to which require the result and even CIC recommends you can increase your CRS score whilst in the pool, which would mean that your result is valid and you need not wait for the remark to be concluded 1 Like |

It's a common knowledge. You may check IDP. That you can improve your scores whilst already in the pool doesn't imply you can use an IELTS under inquiry as it's locked out. You can't use it, but you can register for another IELTS, obtain higher degrees or educational qualifications, take a second language test like TEF, garner additional work experience if less than 3 years, explore PNP and the likes. Good evening, Just want to find out if anyone had done evaluations with ICES and / or WES? if anyone has any idea on processing times from when originals are gotten and verifications are done. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by carissaa(f): 9:28pm On Dec 21, 2019 |
tysaxmalomo: Use the search bar. Search for WES timeline or ICES timeline. Try other combinations till you find as much information as you need. Everyone who wants to do Express Entry has used an ECA but each person's story is different. It depends on the university, number of days needed by the ECA organisation and can last from 4 weeks to 6 months. Do your own search with your university name to find the information you need. 2 Likes |

I think you're misinforming people. It is completely allowed to enter the pool with your IELTS result while you're awaiting your EOR. There's no statement in IRCC or IELTS website that states otherwise. Please if you find such statement in your findings, paste it here for all to see. NaijaGoingMaple: 3 Likes |

NaijaGoingMaple: Common knowledge does not equate to an organisations policy or an established, verifiable fact. It's why I asked you to post a link to the part you made in bold. Maybe IDP has that policy but I haven't seen such for BC and it's the first time I've heard about it 2 Likes |

Hello house, about to create my EE profile towards ITA. I’ve read where people used 2 or more NOCs. Just double checking if the below is ok? 1.) primary NOC 0601 (1 year 9 months) 2.) secondary NOC 4031 (1 year) 3.) secondary NOC 0114 ( 5 months) Thanks |
