Rape happens all over the world, and whether a place is predominantly Christian or Muslim or even any other religion doesn't influence it. If you doubt me check Google with Nigeria as case study, you'll find out that your assertion has no bases.

rape is a capital offence, it has absolutely no connection with religion, rape occured in a region doesn't necessitate the offender's religion... and rape offenders often face wrath of the law since it's the 3rd in line of capital offences in Nigeria.
