Lille play entirely to the strengths of Osimhen.

Osimhen is not technically astute as Tega.

If football was based on gra gra and aggression then there would be no need for technique.

Neymar, Mbappe, Messi, Ronaldo, are aggressive with technique. The dont just use pace bit football intelligence and incredible first touch football with pin point accuracy.

Tega is fast he just doesn't base his entire game on pace he has so much more. That's why you don't see him use so often. In addition the ball is not always played ahead for him to run on too.

Look how Tega links up the entire forward line as well as the midfield with one touch football bringing and knitting the team together to work with so much cohesion. That requires a lot more football intelligence and technical ability.

The idea of one player as a focal point works for a lot of teams but it's not the approach of most top teams today.

Tega has too much in his drawer technically to be caged easily. He makes defenders look foolish if they dive in.

Lille play a possession style game. I doubt you have watched 45 straight minutes of that team this season if not you won't call their pattern gra gra.

So the new method to castigate osimhen is too say he is not technically astute , because he is aggressive... Lol.. Wack analysis, no wonder people jump his post...

On what basis is the new Tammy is more classy, Tammy is more technical based on, is it based on goals, assist , passes, positioning of what.. Stop singing a lame song.

Osimhen is a very technical player, put him in Chelsea, my team, he will be on 15 goal right now, that he has aggressive playing style, is a strength not a weakness, and removes nothing from his technically play, osimhen is hardly deficient, solid first touch, passing range.. Stats, are there ,,oga stop disturbing our ears with this new hating song..

Off course solanke, chucks Aneke are the technical players we need left to someone.

It's not about defenders but style of play.

Seria A is not as physically intensive and as fast as the EPL but it's more technical. That's my view.

Football is about OPPORTUNITY.

And IF is a very big word. If Frank Lampard had not been appointed manager, if Chelsea had not been banned from making transfers, maybe all the youngsters would still be in the academy or on loan. Like I said IF is a very big word.

But Tega is currently second highest goal scorer in the EPL and has proven himself as a top striker and is now playing for England. So it's irrelevant speculation now.

I should add to my list of potential clubs for Victor, Newcastle, Southampton and WestHam.

Just put it this way.....'The bottom half or relegation strugglers!

New Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed the worst fears of Super Eagles and Toffees fans after revealing on Christmas Eve that Alex Iwobi faces a spell on the sidelines following the hamstring injury he suffered in the opening minutes of the goalless draw against Arsenal this past weekend.

The Nigeria international will not be available for selection for one of the most demanding periods of the season, with the Italian football tactician revealing that the playmaker is expected to spend at least two weeks in the treatment room.

Ancelotti will not be able to count on the services of Iwobi for Premier League matches against Burnley (Dec 26), Newcastle United (Dec 28) and Manchester City (Jan 1), and it is all but confirmed that he will sit out the Merseyside derby against Liverpool (Jan 5).

Speaking to Everton TV, Ancelotti said : "Alex Iwobi is not going to play in the next games.

"He is going to rest for two or three weeks, then start [training] with the team."

A deadline day signing from Arsenal, Iwobi has been named in twenty-one matchday squads in all competitions since the start of the 2019-2020 season, starting on fifteen occasions.

Everton sit 15th in the Premier League table with 19 points from 18 matches and are only four points above the drop zone.

Na that Duncan interim boss cause am. How will you start Iwobi consecutively for like 3-4 games with instructions to support defensive duties and still create chances. I watched that man u Everton draw, Iwobi ran himself to the ground body no be firewood.

Special Christmas Edition: On Tammy and Osimhen

Having watched them more than enough I easily draw these off my head...

Tammy Abraham's attributes:

- Fantastic Target Man.
- A Centre forward who strives on being fed into the box.
- A Good Goal Poacher.
- A No.9 who is mostly static upfront and hardly works the channels.
- Great Hold up play, Can play with back to goal.
- He's technical
- Good finisher, Lethal. On par with Osimhen.
- Has the height so has aerial ability. Taller than Osimhen even. But his aerial threat/scoring ability is average on the overall despite his height. Hardly an aerial threat and have scored very few goals with his head despite his 1.90m frame.
- Dribbling is average. Hardly ghosts past markers with the ball but he gets past them by evading them when being fed in the box.
- Good space exploiter.
- Speed is okay.... But really not as fast as Osimhen.
- Mentality for the Big games still questionable.
- Link up plays involvement is okay.
- Not very aggressive but uses his body weight, long arms, long legs, and height to good effects to keep the ball. He is more technical than aggressive. More brains than brawn.

Victor Osimhen's attributes:

- An Excellent Sharpshooter and Goal Poacher.
- Technical player with well above average dribbling skills. Ghosts past his markers more often.
- Can play Target man but also works/exploits the wing channels beautifully showing he is no #9 who stays static in one position.
- Also strives on being fed in the box but dude drops to the wings to serve as outlet for his team getting involved in linkup plays.
- A Two footed Striker.
- Hold up play is very good. Plays with back to goal beautifully.
- Good finisher, Lethal. On par with Tammy on finishing.
- Strong Mentality for the Big games.
- Has World class Speed. Tammy doesn't even come close.
- Has Commanding Aerial strength. But Tammy trumps him in height. On the overall, despite standing at about 1.85/1.86m just 0.04/0.05m shorter than Tammy, Osimhen is more of an aerial threat than Tammy. Has scored more goals with his head and won more aerial duels even compared to Tammy.
- Rugged and Very aggressive Forward yet balances that with poise, control and admirable technicality. He is brains and brawn.

**Coming from one who has seen close to over 100 games of both players combined.

Merry Christmas.... grin
