Bruh does not understand how valueless 5k is especially this Dirty December.

I did Maryland to mountain top university I ago , to Ipaja and back to Maryland for 20k ( And I was the best charge the rider got).

Picked up small cloth from Ikeja to Abuleegba, 4K. For a friend!

Delivered food from GBAGADA to ikoyi. 5k.

Are u now sure 5k is nothing to Ibadan. If the money were to be pay as u go, they will start driving themself from AREPO... seriously!

Not when December is DETTY. Funny enough c they are paying him, he won’t have any excuse of refusing a drive when he gets there.. now imagine they have a lot of places to go in IB?

In this job, ahswerugud your charisma goes a kind way. If they pay him 5k and he accepts, don’t be shocked if he is asked to wash the car, take some food somewhere and bla bla bla..

About Favour’s, trust me, they best offers come from those who wouldn’t stress u that much, or won’t price you that badly. Same people will pay yellow taxi man higher

Hi, ma'am!
Please can I use 0w-40 in place of 5W-20/ 0W-20?
Thanks.

Always follow the owners manual at all times. Don't let anyone tell you other wise .. For example 2010 Corolla recommends 0w20 ,which is suitable for Nigerian weather ... The chart below illustrates which the 0w20 can do well .. Naija weather falls under that category.. This is Toyota manual , anybody telling u other wise needs to have their brain check ..

if it's here in Nigeria you don't need anything0W it's better you go for Sae 20(5w20) or Sae 30(5w30).. A 5w30 oil is an average for all weather here in 9ja..

If you are using bigger engine like Mercedes, VW, BMW, Fiat, mini Renault and GM dexos.. (you can use the 0w40 and your next service you will need get a 5w40)

The chart below illustrates that 0w20 falls under Nigerian weather condition.. Do you know better than the manufacture? Try to be objective in what you write. Encourage customers to follow owners manual at times. Don't lead your customers astray.....

You always believe you know it all, who told you I bought it from a dealer? And were you there when I bought it cheap. I know I have to replace engine even if I had stayed loyal to the almighty 5w30 synthetic oil so which cry do want to cry because you want to change engine. Yes I will sell the car or you expect me to use it forever? and it won't be out of frustration as you wish. Keep your experience to yourself sir, I have mine. Thanks

He’s putting in hours plus a lot of inconvenience (jumping bus to get back to lagos, spending quality time with strangers etc)

I don’t know if I’m spoilt or too greedy cheesy but I helped someone drive his car from tin can island to ocean bay area in lekki for 15k with abeg and that was in September. If it were to be December walai na double i go collect.

You seem to take driving (which is a special skill) for granted. You think it’s that easy to drive safely huh?

Forget about helper bla bla bla, who go help you go help you regardless.

Would you collect 5k plus tp and welfare(max 5k) for that trip?

you surely know I can't lead my customers astray and I won't judge using my own discretion..

I have study the behaviour of this all under high temperature.. Nigeria don't have that thing they cold start temperature. Lowest 9ja temp should be approximately 12°c but in the USA its something different during winter - 30°c.. That 0w20 will flow better in the USA but no be 9ja wit still hash temperature during winter.. Do you know what happen to oil under high temperature? It will melt down total and becomes like water, you need engine oil that will help you to protect wears, tears and help avoid metal to metal contact under a hash temperature and not under a colder temperature.. Wetin I know self? grin..

Even manufacturer mostly state two viscosity on manual.. You need a specialist to tell you the best for your region.

She's right you know...
Since it is toks, better to start using recommended oil for it. At the end, cost of oil change is a bit cheaper or same as buying a cheap Mobil XHP.

But on the other hand, if you prefer to change oil often cos you feel high funds for oil change less often is too high & may not be always available, and you plan to sell car off once you notice oil shortening, XHP is your man!

Like in Chuwa's Dad's case, it is not for ehailing and as analysed by Dru23 as well. If you listen to sounds of different engines using recommended and mineral oil after few years, the difference is glaring.

I use XHP though but I know the truth. If I bought a toks for personal use or ehailing today, I would go with recommended oil.

Your arguement sounds genuine. It may not be genuine though.

I went online after this your comment and did some research. I read something about viscosity and sludge.

Seems Camry models require lighter oils since we are in a tropical climate.

Because of this, I will stick to the recommended oil and get a good one from Radautoworks. But it will be cheap though.

I don't need mobil 1 5w30. I have school fees and Rent to pay by February 1st. My madam has also threatened to go back to her father unless I give her 10k for xmas shopping.... Yes... am that cheap tongue tongue tongue

So madam radautoworks, which one do you recommend again? I will pick it up on January 4th . Good and solid but Cheap one tongue tongue tongue

My neighour will call you soon too. Gave him your number. cool cool cool

Bottom line is for owners to follow manufacture advice at all times..... The oil viscosity has been formulated to meet extreme tempt, cold or hot. If the manual says use 0w20 for all tempt, by advice is to follow . The engineers that design it are in a better position to say so , they are paid big money for the services ,and went to university not trade school ...
People should always read the manual that came with car ,not some random car manual .. All the manual instructions I do post, do come from the car manufacture itself. Which you can easily Google it and print it out ..
And if people bothers to read the manual, some cars will tell you not to use fuel additives. I notice that people will just add fuel additives without reading the manual. I just shake my heads ......

Nobody is asking you to buy Mobil 1 .... It just happens to be that Mobil 1 is a world known brand. That aside, the most important is to use the right weight and quality oil that fits the manufacture standard... The only reason I use Mobil 1 extended performace is for my uber cars . Those cars are running everyday and I need good oil to protect the engine. But for my personal cars I use the USA Castrol.. My personal cars barely do 12k miles a year.. I am not forcing you to buy my oil ,am not the only selling oil on the forum ...

You need a specialist to tell you how to read too ...or explain to you what tempt to follow.. Reading is fundamental .. And the specialist are they Nigerians ? or the ones that help build the car ... because me confuse ,a Nigerian specialist once change my elantra fuel pump with a Camry fuel pump. Or a trade school specialist with no formal education ....

Waiver ko bye bye ni.
When u dey cash out 20k daily u give your partner owner extra until the surge or during the festive period?
Or your partner increase d weekly remittance abi u think say him no sabi say drivers dey cashout these period? But they still stick to their agreement so if you decide to take some days off because you want to go to the Bahamas for holidays and spend all the money you’ve worked it’s up to you but make sure you deliver the car to the owner before going for your sabastical but if not pay h/h the money so long d car is under your possession.

If you choose to deliver the car to h/h prepare your mind o because u fit no meet d car again when u return from faji.

No holiday for d hustle, owner of car no buy motor say driver go get holls
