Osimhen stats in Ligue 1 at 20

Tammy stats in EPL at 20

What is the difference?

Don't forget Swansea was a useless team as at the time he joined while Lillie is currently one of the best team in Ligue 1.

Oshimen also messed up monumentally in his first season in the topflight for Wolfsburg, blame it on injury or whatever but it doesn't change anything, he got the minutes and he didn't justify it.

Y'all should be honest, please.

Guy, come on. You can reason more deeper and give a more intelligent assessment than this. Saying Osimhen messed up is both dishonest and unfair because it is not a complete account. You conveniently cherry picked the piece that supports the argument you want to make and flush the rest down the toilet. I dont know if you are looking for attention or what...I dont remember if you are Igbo or not but there is a famous Igbo adage..." ejiro ututu ama njo affia", which is loosely translated as first impression is never a complete story.

And ,you succinctly displayed the behaviour Chimamanda colorfully spoke about in her famous speech...Dangers of a single story. And , like the legendary Chinua Achebe rightly puts it....the issue is not that your story is not true but it's incomplete.

I dont think he messed up at wolfsburg

Injuries and poor game time, so you expect him to deliver via poor game time? No bro, you got it wrong on that.

How can someone justify 2,3 minutes off the bench, he didnt even started more than 3 games there self

I am honest on this

And mind you i am not in for osimhen and tammy who is better, i have already said i wont do such comparism

All i see here is both sides bringing on a player down to justify their points which is wrong.

That's why I said in an earlier post that both players are very good in their own right. I don't see much difference between the two to be honest

I clearly pointed out that injuries played a part didn't I? But if you look at the screenshot TheSuperNerd posted he did play the full ninety twice, you may then argue that he didn't get a constant run of game(and not that he didn't get game time) so he couldn't pick up the rhythm properly which I will agree to, but I will also point to the fact that injury prone guys like Joel Obi used to walk straight back into the team after each injury. So the argument that because he was injured and didn't get a run of games, although credible, is not exactly conclusive because it has not exactly hampered others.

Another Igbo adage..." Okuko ga-abu oke na ebido na eju" which loosely translates to "you can know someone's worth from the first impression".

But then seems like you got the entire point wrong. Credibly injuries hampered Oshimen, but then he did get minutes and he didn't make much of them, probably due to the injuries and his inability to get a clear run of games no doubt. That is a credible argument and it was his first season so he couldn't adapt straight away, he went to Belgium and has been on fire since.

Tammy in his first topflight season had a similar torrid time, it might have been the pressure, it might have been the new tactics, it might have been anything which are also credible. Then he went back to the championship and has been on fire since then.

Bottom line, if you can excuse Oshimen's Wolfsburg days, then it is only morally right that you excuse Tammy's first season as well. So knocking down Tammy for a bad year at Swansea while praising Oshimen for a bad year at Wolfsburg (no matter the reason) is rather hypocritical.

One of the ethics of subjective analysis is that even when the patient is saying rubbish, you do not interrupt them, neither do you tell them that they are saying rubbish, but you try to make as much sense from their rubbish as you can and from then you can make your objective conclusions and draw out a treatment plan. So that is one of the rules that govern my life, even if you say rubbish I still try to make sense of it so the conversation can flow.

Of course you have demonstrated it here that you rate Oshimen, at leaSt you called out Andrew for saying Victor is an average player. And you unequivocally stated that he's not an average player on all counts.

U are too emotional for a supposed grown up, all these incoherent statements and vituperations bkus I was so blunt with the truth? If u were smart enough, u would have given facts to disprove my assertions instead of these bullocks upon bullocks u messing up this beautiful thread with.

Simple question, was Tammy as good as Osimhen presently is, when he was 20?

BTW, sure u really do understand ur profession as much as u claim u do? Dude seems u trying so hard to sound smart. How is this "Grow up" a medical advice? Please school me. I didnt bother bringing it up earlier bkus then I was behind the wheel taking my nieces out to have a feel of the Xmas, but I am home now, and ready for ur lecture.

The two boys are good, and really do not fancy the comparisons, but sometimes one needs to correct some notions. Komekn is knavish and always the first to play the victims card to appear sympathetic after berating other players for his clients.

Hype Tammy to high heavens as much as u please, no problems with that, but must u do that by downplaying the exploits of another player?

I don't just know why I am not comfortable with Dennis's proposed move to the EPL. I am having same feeling I had when Musa was about joining Leicester. I just feel Dennis isnt good enough and much is being expected of him, hence the interests. I hope he proves me wrong, but I honestly do not see him succeeding in the EPL and his display against Madrid was a fluke.

But i think musa was good enough for the epl, its the constant changing of coaches that affected him

I think you should allow dennis join the epl first before you conclude, even the ones that you might think that are good enough might be the ones that will end up disappointing you

this wayo man just killed it. *bows*

wayodude:
Enjoying this debate. cheesy

I think Tammy currently has a higher profile in world football than Osimhen, by it doesn't need me or anyone else to highlight how much Osimhen's profile is growing exponentially almost every weekend.

I think the most significant fact you can pass judgement in without stirring the nest is that both players are equally indispensable to their teams with both thier teams battling for a champions League spot and not the title.

So today in order to separate them it will have to come down to nit picking (bias for or against) or simply personal preference for whatever reason.

Osimhen market value really had an upgrade at transfermarkt.com, from 13million to 30 million

It was the biggest upgrade in ligue 1

Julian draxler and osimhen are on the same value, julian draxler really killed his career at psg
