Ndibunna: I THINK, SS IS A COWARD REGION. IF U SEE THE WAY IJAW AND URHOBO KILL EACH OTHER OR THOSE TWO TEAM UP TO SLAUGHTER ITSEKIRI, U WILL SCREAM WAT IS DIS. YET THEY ARE POWERLESS ABOUT A MAN FROM SOKOTO OCCUPYING THE OIL WELL ON THEIR LAND. SAME WAY ASARI WAS VERY QUICK TO ATTACK IGBO BUT I HAVE NEVER HEARD HIM MENTION FULANI AND INSULT TOGHETHER IN ONE SENTENCE. HIGHEST HE WILL SAY IS GAMBARI FROM FUTA JALON, WHICH IS WHERE THE FULANI ORIGINATE. THAT LION IN THE HOUSE BEHAVIOUR OF SS WILL NEED TO BE TAMED. THEY ARE NO LION, BUT A PUSSY. ccefewestern and fratermathy, tonyebarcanista, nengibo |

superlightning: Are you ffuccking kidding me ?? I have been posting on this thread before you surfaced. And , you don't have a say on where I should post....kedu ife ina esoghalim ka nkita ? Open an Abia thread and you can put a lock on it... you are sad and miserable. Few minutes ago you bragged about how Abia people towers above every human existence and I ignored you and here you are again hunting for attention to soothe your broken self esteem. I post on Enugu and Imo threads and nobody gets offended because I respect myself but you cant come to Anambra thread and misbehave and think you can get away....you will be checked like a criminal right off. Learn to respect people's space and stop feeling intimidated or feeling insecure for no reason. This is Christmas yet your heart is filled with bitterness, because you were rebuked for being uncouth. 1 Like |

This is a very lucrative industry that can really be establish in the East and carried all over the world. I am thinking of investing in Igbo music majorly. |

hammerU: This uniformity you are campaigning for is ruining our individual culture. Open your eyes and stop trying to force unity among people who aren't a unit. Igbo land is unique and for us to move forward we must carefully define ourselves and therein find elements we can use to cooperate. Igbo land can never be united under one ideology. To force this unity is to destroy people's cultures. For instance, Igbo Izugbe is a cancer eating deep into the ancient Omanbala culture...I see people from many Anambra towns writing "were" and "chere" instead of welu and chelu the typical Anambra person uses. Even a titled man like Victor Umeh wrote Ohamadike instead of their Aguluuzigbo variance ,Oramalu Dike. We must resist this corruption. I also urge Ndi Abia and Imo to stop using names like Chideraa, Ifeanyi, Oluchi etc...its eroding their culture. 1 Like |

XANDERBOY85: The shows in the East and Rivers should be completely in Igbo. Instead, they are carrying pidgin and English and even Yoruba to sing in Igboland. That is funny becos, Igbo music and movies is a massive multi-billion dollar industry. Wen properly structured and implemented. These Igbo artist sometimes make super hits but becos we are too busy looking at western and yoruba music, we completely miss them. Igbo population is more than the whole Ghana population. Our region is surrounded by the South and middle-belt, even English speaking Cameroon. Let us leave SW out. Do u know the money to be made, even going abroad to do shows in places like Germany and other parts of Europe, Japan Asia, Lagos, Abuja, Kano, Jos, Accra, Kumasi, Brazil. Let us not even talk London or USA yet. I am seriously considering spendng time and money investing in Igbo movie and music and even awards shows. 2 Likes |

OMANBALA1: Nice one |
Re: . by hammerU: 10:40pm On Dec 26, 2019 |
OMANBALA1: I dont really see any of wat you wrote as a problem. Utilisation of the Igbo language stopped in the 19th Century wen the British arrived Igboland. Wen we actually return to further develop our language, lu and ere will all be carefully implemented into the various parts of speech of the igbo language. Even variants from Rivers and Ika will be utilized to enrich the Igbo language. We may even investigate variants from Igbo speaking Bioko Islanders. Nothing will be lost. I believe wat we speak now is not fully Igbo and that is y we add English to it, which is very wrong. Igbo is a language that needs to be thought in school and learnt as one would learn English, French, Spanish or German. Igbo should have nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, conjunctions, past-tense, present tense, prepositions, and interjections. Igbo words can and should be joined together to make sentences that are both grammatically correct and readable. An understanding of the parts of speech is also important for knowing how to correctly punctuate sentences. We could even write and teach Igbo using Nsibidi if we really desire to develop in that direction. 1 Like |

OMANBALA1: I had told you before that the monolithic Anambra you are trying too hard to create does not exist in reality. And we have had discussion about this your "Omanbala" thing. Omanbala to my understanding is Anambra East and West and Oyi. That's Omanbala. I don't understand how you stretched Omanbala which is just those three LGAs, and maybe parts of Dunukofia and Ayamelum, to include Idemili, Aniocha, etc. The Orumba and Ihiala (notice it's Ihiala and not Ifiani) all speak like their brothers in IMO state, they use "Were" (Welu) "Chere"(Chelu) , "Ha"(fa) "Uhu"(Uru), etc, instead of those in the brackets. They use "Oha" too, rather than "Ora". Anambra like all states is an artificial Nigerian creation, it simply doesn't exist in cultural Igboland. You are no different from those Igbos in Rivers and Delta states who had allowed artificially created Nigerian entities post 1970 to become their new identity. You are only still claiming Igbo because your town is in South East, I bet people like would deny Igbo and claim your Omambala is now a new distinct ethnic group of its own if Anambra were not in SE. We can't continue like this. 15 Likes 1 Share |

pazienza: That guy is Yoruba or Fulani. I have read his posts and he is neither Igbo nor from the Southsouth. Most of them here are simply on a mission to instigate enmity and disunity among Igbos or between the SE & SS regions. Ignoring them & refusing to quote them at all is the best way to deal with them. |
