When you hear something strange, try and verify before commenting. the result of your verification will help you comment objectively not sentimentally. the pastor is courageous enough to speak out now about what other have been keeping secret for a long time now. mind you, if you are just knowing this now, its funny coz its what the muslims have known for a very long time but yet you people find it hard to believe something that even the jews have known all along. even the picture that christians are made to believe to be the picture of jesus is never the picture of jesus and that is why you have different types of pictures of jesus every where. 1. December 25th is set aside for the worship of a Roman god of the sun. it was a grand plot to make the worship of the sun a wide doctrine therefore, Christ's name was merged with it. now christians should fight now to separate the name of their beloved son of God from the name of an Idol and get the right date to celebrate his birth. 2. the picture in circulation claimed to be the picture of Jesus is never the picture of Jesus but the picture of the son of a Roman king. Chritians should fight to correct these things and set the record straight instead of attacking a pastor who has decided not to follow the lost lot. May God Guide us to the right path. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

Its a free world. If anyone wants to join the world to merry and enjoy for just one day it’s not a problem, if anyone feel like they want to be isolated on the same day it’s no problem. Even those that try to tell when Jesus was born only speculate. You can have babe and decide to do the naming after a year no one will question you, you can move or postpone your birthday to another date no problem. Remember that no one except your parent know when is your birthday not even you so it’s whatever date you were given. A lot of people I know in the village above 50 don’t know their birthday. So some people wrote a book for centuries put these books to together and they become one body of work and someone read this single book and decided to make a 2.0 of that book and now you believe his own book is more genuine than the original? I’ve read the Quran, i stop reading because it’s a must I believe in it if not I shouldn’t read, all the errors that guy made in that book to fit into the life of those days is why there’s ISWAP, Boko Haram, ISIS, Alqaeeda. Y’all need to look into these things for future generations and leave Christianity alone, may not be perfect but it’s the perfect religion for the present world if only you can love your neighbors as yourself and love God with all your heart and have no justification for evil. Seetto: I know you know the difference but whenever you’re to be an hypocrite you omit fact. You are going to point to Old Testament to confirm this genocides and whatever you wrote there. The Quran throughout the writing state that the people of the scripture A.K.A Old Testament (Taurat in Arabic) are different from the people of the gospel A.K.A New Testament also known as Christians. (Injil in Arabic) Old Testament is Judaism, the New Testament is Christianity. Name one Christian terrorist group that you know or anywhere in the world that Christians are killing anyone for whatever reason. 16 Likes 5 Shares |

Day2logic:TOP 10 CHRISTIAN TERRORISTS I recently participated in a debate over the topic: “Is Islam A Religion of Peace?“, but I think we should be asking: “Is Christianity A Religion of Peace?” Why? Because not only does the Bible have twice as many violent references as we find in the Quran – which involve commands about genocide and war, references to dashing babies against the rocks, commands to kill women and children, etc., but because, statistically, White Christians are much more dangerous to Americans than Muslims. https://www.patheos.com/blogs/keithgiles/2018/08/top-10-christian-terrorists/ |

Mike Bamiloye is right on this one!!! If the world can set a standard of celebrating AIDS, cancer, diabetes e.t.c What is wrong in celebrating the birthday of the saviour of the world Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. It doesn't matter what that day has been in the past, what's important is what it is now There is nothing wrong in celebrating Christ!!! It's all in your perception!!! 3 Likes |

Why is that first Christmas celebrated occurred about 300 years after death of last apostle of Jesus? Christianity is not dogmatism. Think 3 Likes 1 Share |

Day2logic: It is well documented that the early church adopted Sunday as their day of worship. Acts 20:7 speaks of this, "On the first day of the week we came together to break bread. Paul spoke to the people …" and 1 Corinthians 16:2, "On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made." These passages indicate that Christians were probably meeting regularly on Sunday (the first day of the week). They did this most likely because Christ rose on the first day of the week. In summary Christians had been worshipping on sunday which is the first day of the week in Jewish calendar before reign of emperor Constantine. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

We dwell too much on physical matters and leave the spiritual unattended to. All these issues on Christmas are not of great importance in our Christian walk. Are we Christlike? Do we follow his guidelines? Do we understand his teachings, the parables and sermons? Are we living in accordance with God's commandments? Do we fear, worship and adore God? These are the issues we need to consider for a saner society. 2 Likes |

As copied WHERE IS IT IN THE BIBLE? Catholic Priest Rev Fr Oluoma Replies Olukoya I wanted to pretend I didn't read about the G. O who said 'Christmas' is not in the Bible and so shouldn't be celebrated. It's the same funny mentality of those who confuse terminology with theology. Easter as a term is not in the Bible but we celebrate easter because it's an event and a mystery recorded in scripture. Same with Christmas, it's not the term or calendar date we celebrate but the event and mystery. One day now someone will wake up tipsy on 'anointing' and tell me to tell him why I call myself a Catholic since that term doesn't exist in the Bible. Same folly can be extended to all churches because no church has a name that's used as a group of church members in the Bible. A Pentecostal church that says it doesn't celebrate Christmas bc the term doesn't exist in the Bible but calls itself a Pentecostal church is just a comic contradiction. Pentecost means 50th day, it was an agricultural feast that had nothing to do with the Holy Spirit until that particular year that the Holy Spirit fell on the apostles in Acts 2. Even after that there is no record in scripture that the Holy Spirit fell on other people on Pentecost day. If I wanted to be 'an anointed idiot' I would have been going round condemning Christians who identify as Pentecostals, quizzing them to show me where it's in the Bible that a group of believers were referred to as Pentecostals or to prove to me where any group of Christians celebrated Pentecost in the Bible. Yet common sense dictates that it's neither terminology nor semantics we identify as Pentecostal but the reality and mystery of the Holy Spirit. Whoever adjectivised SENSE with COMMON hasn't experienced this generation of WHERE IS IT IN THE BIBLE intoxicated Christians, common sense is very rare. The Bible is not a dictionary or history book, it's more of a theology than terminology. When you want to use the Bible to validate or invalidate any religious practice, you look for the biblical theology about it, not the terminology. Mothers day, fathers day, Children's day, etc are not in the Bible, but the Bible doesn't have anything against their celebration. It's only a religious ignoramus that will condemn those celebrations and get pious zombies to follow suit. If you care to know, there are many things we do in life that are not in the Bible and God isn't angry at all. Traditional marriage, village meetings, cross over vigils(these 'show me where it's in the Bible' folks who are addicted to 31st Dec Cross over vigil don't even know it's not in the Bible in their sense), birthday parties, wedding anniversaries etc are not in the Bible. Finally, someone needs to tell Dr Olukoya that MFM has a football club, I've been searching for it in the Bible and couldn't find, abi no be MFM get that football club? Some nonsense must stop this 2019 o, let me come and be going. 9 Likes 2 Shares |

We do not celebrate the DAY, we celebrate JESUS. When we do it does not matter. Who we celebrate is what does. Jesus was not even called JESUS, during His days on Earth, yet we call him JESUS, because the character behind the name is what matters. 2 Likes |

Every Religious Celebration be it Muslims or Christians has always been fixed on the exact date that the sacrifices are supposed to be made. On every Dec 25, it is required that many Souls are freed, Soul being fractals of the Sun aka Sol, requires the energizing effects of vortex of energies, so even the so called Worship and Sacrifice for the God of the Sun is still yet another level of control. In essence, it is like adding firewood to fire to continue burning. So killing animals and freeing up their souls is necessary to keep the fusion processes in the sun on-going. It is all fusion processes to keep the sun going. Turning around the black cube (Metatron Cube) by Muslim, at Saudi Arabia is vortex energy magneto-elextric intensification process and have significant effect on the planet. Religions and their rituals have signification scientific undertone, so it is the reason that those dates are set aside for any emerging religion to carry out the rituals. Even if Islam and Christianity cease to exist, the next Religions will be allocated those days for those same rituals. So ignore the historical irregularities, the world needs those rituals for Universal Scientific purposes. Who ever gets into the rabbit hole and successfully emerges, will understand that Religions, as faulty as they seem, are programs designed for the Universe and has their advantages and disadvantages depending on the level of consciousness of the beings. If we all know the real truth, we will not need religions, then it means we MUST still kill millions of animals those days, not as rituals, but to free up the souls to keep the sun burning. But these truth must be hidden in religious rituals to make sense to common man. They think they are celebrating and eating meat, not knowing the main event is in killing the animals and freeing up the souls to keep the evolution. |

Re: Christmas Date Controversy: Mike Bamiloye Replies MFM Founder, Pastor Olukoya by joyandfaith: 2:50pm On Dec 27, 2019 |
edoairways: Early Christians used Jewish calendar not gregorian calendar. Christians had been worshipping on Sunday even before Constantine declared Sunday as resting day. In the year 321 A.D., Constantine decreed, "On the venerable day of the Sun let the magistrates and people residing in cities rest, and let all workshops be closed" (Codex Justinianus lib. 3, tit. 12, 3; trans. in Philip Schaff, History of the Christian Church, Vol. 3, p. 380, note 1). Constantine seems to have made this change himself and not through the papacy, since the papacy had not really come in to being at that time. The papacy grew gradually out of the office of Bishop and for many years this was centered in Rome. In any case, it should be noted that in doing this, Constantine is not changing the Sabbath; he is merely making Sunday the official day of rest for the Roman Empire. His motivation was probably not born out of hatred for the Jews (it's hard to say for sure why Constantine or any historical figure did what they did) but out of a desire to adopt what the Christians had practiced for nearly two and a half centuries. |

kayzay4all:Oga go and sit down! Nobody said Christ was born on Xmas day. 25th December according to history was a day idolaters worshipped their sun god. In those times, it was observed that even those already converted were still following their pagan relatives to the event. To curtail this, it was necessary to also set up a major Christian event on that date, so that as you go for your idol events, I will have no choice than to be engaged with my Christian event at the same time!! Isn't this a wise decision? Today, have you noticed that mooslims now go to mosques on Sundays for one prayer meeting or another. Why do you think they did this? Because their people were following dressing up in fine clothes every Sunday and following their christian neighbors and relatives to church on Sunday. We have world food day, world diabetes day, world HIV day, women's day, world cancer day etc. Does it mean the dates they are observed are the days they were invented or whatever? 2 Likes |

Re: Christmas Date Controversy: Mike Bamiloye Replies MFM Founder, Pastor Olukoya by joyandfaith: 3:27pm On Dec 27, 2019 |
edoairways: There are examples cultural wedding in bible according to Jewish culture. Later on Roman ruler mandated registration or legalisation of marriage for all subjects of the empire. Since bible says we want must obry government laws which are not contrary to God's law, a Christian can choose either cultural wedding or statutory wedding. Church wedding is not valid in eyes of law while law recognize cultural wedding. Mind you some places of worship have been licenced for the purpose of statutory/ court marriage. Statutory marriage can only be conducted in licenced places of worship , court or marriage registry. Law also mandates cultural wedding to be registered. High court dissolves statutory wedding while customary court dissolves cultural wedding. Hope I am clear |
