the likes of wenger and van gaal used the same style to good effect during their active years in coaching.
TheGoodJoe:

No one is denying the influence of the tactical fathers of the past on Guardiola but Guardiola's success at Barcelona, Bayern and City has had tremendous effect on the beliefs in the system. A lot of teams have adapted and searching on how to imbibe the system in their games.

he mustn't join westham or norwich. he should take over teams like sevilla, valencia, schalke or wolfsburg and make it to atleast the uel finals also finishing like 2nd in the league as well

andrewbaba44:

Lets see what mourinho will do there

What team do you want pep to coach, maybe na west ham you want make e proove him self abi

What has pellegrini done at west ham, even europa league dem no see but this is a coach that won the epl with city

Carry klopp go small club and he will win nothing, should i remind you klopp is a specialist in loosing finals till last season?

Most people thinks unai emery is a bad coach but dem no no say arsenal problem na players

Should i remind you how unai emery schooled klopp in the europa league finals grin

Lol, to make it worst liverpool have better players than sevilla

But they did not impact the game the way Guardiola did.

Go on YouTube, no coach's game plan is broken down and studied like Guardiola. Even his coaching sessions are sold on dvds.

Then unai emery is a better coach seems he used sevilla to win the europa league

If you are thinking sevilla and valencia are small teams then you are a long thing

Why didnt klopp join schakle04 nah or wolfsburg , he should not have even leave mainz so he will try to bring them to the champions league grin

Pep didnt start from a small team,he started from barcelona so he is likely to get good offers till the end of his coaching career
Modified

Even as bad as Velverde if he leaves Barca today he will get top coaching jobs in the so called Epl

Saying he must win a particular title shows you are still far from understanding the game.

Winning a title is not paramount but the influence of the game over a long period of time. He might not have won the Champions league with City but he has done things never believed possible in England. Five trophies and 198 points in two seasons. That alone is beyond belief.

I guess u don't know much about Wenger and van gaal. Visit Google.

Pep won more titles than them but these re coaches that made their name in the game because of their tactical brilliance and nurtured alot young stars who turned out to be greats today.

But they did not have as much influence on the game as Guardiola did recently.

No one is disputing that, like I said previously pep is a good coach but strives in a club where he has the riches to bring in world class players to perfect his tactics

It takes more than riches. Manchester United have spent a fortune too, yet miracles are not happening.

Wetin concern man City management or any other team pep have coached or will coach with the influence his style have brought to modern football?

The aim of top clubs in Europe is to make testaments in the UCL by atleast getting to the finals or winning it. Do you know the reason juve is spending mad money for the past few seasons is to win the UCL which was the reason why alegri was sacked?

Coaches with lesser teams have done it in the past and still doing it till date so I see no reason pep with his world class players and riches from the middle east find it difficult to atleast play in the finals for so many years now right from another rich top team like bayern

United's problem is bad decision on policy and players recruitment which is from the management not the coaches.

United owners are after the business aspect of the game which is the reason even with the clubs dwindling form post fergie is still among the richest in world football.

Do you know united hierarchy brings in big name players without the consent of the coaches just to make money from the players merchandise?

Do you know van gaal was against the signing of di Maria, pogba, falcao and others?

United's problem is not having the right coach but managerial policies and player recruitment. Have u ever wonder why solkjaer with all the bad results is yet to be sacked?

Winning the champions league is good but it is not all that matters. For instance, Guardiola lost last season because VAR decided to unfairly give Tottenham an illegitimate goal. Does that take away the brilliant work of winning all domestic trophies for the first time in England? Guardiola did something never to happen in English football.

Yes but kloop just won the UCL, UEFA super cup and on the verge of winning the epl this season, also tipped as one of the favorites to win the UCL after spending big.

Jose have won the UCL with 2 different clubs, won the uel with 2 different clubs.

Pep should justify his spending by atleast winning one for city after how many years of leaving barca

He already justified it by breaking records never seen before in England, doing things many never thought was possible in England.

The champions league is just the icing of the cake, not the cake.

Do you know in terms of managerial aspect of the game that city have the best personels in England currently?

Even their academy and that of Chelsea are the best in the whole of England.

Do you have an idea of how much city owners invested in their academy whereas bringing youngsters from different part of Europe and the world, them and psg are the reason La masia lacks promising talents now unlike before.

City's current set up is top notch and can only be compared to that of Madrid and barca in the whole of Europe.

Pep hv no excuse not to win a UCL title before leaving the etihad
