Probably but if Rohr gets to settle out his contract palava, he should be sending an invite to him (Sadiq) though

Yes he did and like Rohr once posited, All Nigerian players cannot be invited at the same time. But that should change soon if he (Sadiq Umar) continues the way he is doing at present.

Just asking, Nigeria seems to have alot of strikers performing well in their various clubs, I don't know how they plan on squeezing them into the NNTS

If Rohr stays far from Nigeria, he would not find the unpolished gems that could add a lot to the Super Eagles. Heck, the man hardly watches local games and have hardly scouted the home scene.

Westerhof found a 16 years Amokachi after watching a home game, who later became a quality player for club or country.

If Westerhof was based in Europe, he would never have noticed Amokachi and a host of others.

Westerhof era is a long time ago. There are no talents in the league. This is what Akpoborie said about a similar idea posed to him.

We are in 2019, football has evolved. Which of our league players today can play at the highest level?? They do not exist. The evidence is in the performances of our best exports.

Omo, how many players do we have in Europe during Westerhof's era? Today, that 16 year Amokachie would be playing somewhere, in the backwaters, of Europe. And in addition, the Nigerian league is not as organized/competitive as it was back in the day. Hence, Rohr has no business staying in Nigeria. If we have any unpolished talented, they ought to be discovered by the cadet team coaches - U17, U21, U23 teams. Finally, Rohr has assistant coaches living in Nigeria who can monitor and recommend players for him.

Either way you look at it, the whole new clause craps is BS upon BS. Their only aim is to frustrate Rohr so he'll quit. I think they are getting tired of how Rohr has been calling them out for the unprofessional way they run naija footie. That's exactly why they want him out of the way. These people don't really care about whether naija footie is making progress or not as long as they can keep pilfering their loots.

Rohr needs to scout and decide for himself if there are no talents. He can not stay and Europe and summarize that we have no talents in the NPFL and NNL.

Our best players are abroad, that is who he should be scouting not imaginary home talents. These "home talents" still need to be polished to be super eagles quality.

Rohr should have a local assistant that knows the local league ans can provide scouting reports. The vast majority of our players are abroad.

Exactly, Westerhof was in an era where very good Nigerian players were at home. Only few players were abroad.

The early 90s marked the exodus of good Nigerian players

Now, any one with a hint of talent goes abroad.

you guys keep on ranting and making case for home based players, in the last decade how successful have our indigenous clubs being in African club competitions?

is rohr the one to organize and develop the league? the duties of a senior national team coach is not nurture players on the basics of the game, that is the job of age grade coaches while the national team is for the best the nation can boast of. you guys really need to wake up and stop being myopic and sentimental born out hate and prejudice

no mind pple wey hate, sentiment and prejudice don cloud thieir sense of reasoning. imagine some folks saying that rohr should sit back in nigeria to develop the league as if southgate is the one developing the epl, championship and league 1.

u earn my respect with this post bro. forget folks wey dey short sighted but they form they sabi the game.

issues like this is the same thing that almost destroyed our football before rohr came on board. in an era where Nigeria is blessed with young talented players doing big things in top European leagues you expect the coach to sit down in nigeria when he has the luxury to live in Europe in order to monitor his players closely.

oliseh came and forced paul onobi on us and made us believe he is better than mikel but where is he now?

the likes of kwambe, oshaniwa, ekwuekwe, oboabona, mba, uzoenyi just to mention a few who keshi made us believe they are the 2nd coming of zizou, baresi, maradona etc where are they today? whereas the likes of omeruo, musa, mikel, moses, onazi and others from the same team are still playing in till date in better leagues

Asides BascoVanVeli, you hardly watch NPFL because you believe there's no talent (even if you do, so many of us don't). A greater percentage of players in NPFL are above 35yrs in actual age, is that when to discover talent.

Rhor should be allowed to stay wherever he wish.

Again, on vetting of list, was it not this same technical committee that was vetting Keshi's list? And we all are aware of the result. Why do we hate merit so much in Nigeria like this? The players are happy to play and are giving in their best because they believe that merit is being rewarded. Why do we want to rock the boat?

If Nigeria is having so much talent now, it is because merit is being rewarded and not because we are blessed with talents.

This NFF issue will determine whether I'll still be a super eagles fan in 2020 or not. I don't take nonsense; I'm not loyal to any club cos I don't want heartache. Slowly all our teams are being destroyed.

To be honest iheanacho has nothing to prove to anyone. He deserves a starting place for Leceister. He will make a good partnership with vardy, am not surprised they won't let him go for less than £36m.
