I am not getting it wrong. My opinion is not popular.

You can not tell me the National team coach of a country like Nigeria earns a fortune and has no idea what is going on in the local scene, because he must live in Europe. That does not work.

Sir, what is the ambition of every single player in the NPFL? To win the league? Finish in the top 6? Qualify for Caf Champions League? This is their ambition in order:

1. Sign for any club abroad
2. Build a house and settle family members
3. Start a business in preparation for retirement or unforseen injury.
4. Upgrade to a better club, age willing and fortune willing.

Playing for the Super Eagles is not a priority for 95% of these guys. So we should not waste time but rather focus on the boys we have now and the upcoming popping up everywhere via academies.

Which Rohr got our players in England, Italy, Germany?

Is it Balogun or Iheanacho or Osimhen or Chukwueze or who?

Go and check Salisu's list before Rohr, a lot of the players Rohr uses today were in the team before him.

Did Rohr contribute to the growth of our local academies or play his part in the age grades? So how is it his impact?

Do you think Osimhen and Chukwueze would have been in the team if Rohr was not there?

Is it the Salisu that was caught on tape collecting bribe that you now want to cite for us as someone who saw talent?

This Thing you are saying reminds me of that saying that when you have finished helping someone, the day you ask them for helpp and remind them that you once helped them, they will ask you, "did I ask you to help me?"

So, now, Rohr did not do anything abi? When Rohr was traveling up and down, meeting coaches and monitoring player progress, I wonder if you were following up. When Rohr was inviting Osimhen even as he was down on his luck, you think Salisu would have been doing that and monitoring him?

This thing you said is the reason why we have leaders that do nothing, because even if you try, tomorrow someone will come and say "wetin e do sef?" Abi you think Rohr couldn't have been chopping salary without moving an inch from his house?

Which work in Europe? The clubs are doing the bulk work for him. If Leicester City drops Iheanacho, he drops Iheanacho, if Pepe Mel plays Uzoho, he calls Uzoho, if Graham Potter drops Balogun, he drops Balogun. If Villareal plays Chukwueze, he calls Chukwueze.

Which work is he doing? Let him sit home and do the work where it is.

1. Scouting upcoming players can be best done in Europe. The likes of Okereke, Ejuke et al.

2. Meeting with coaches of his players to gather intelligence on his players and build relationships. Good country-club relationships is key these days

3. Meeting with players to ascertain their availability or simply check on them can be best done in Europe. Rohr provided a lot of support for Kalu when his mum was kidnapped.

4. Trying to convince diaspora talents that can add to the team is best done from Europe.

In Nigeria, he can only go and watch Ezenwa. And Ezenwa is on the bench.

Our best players are plying their trade abroad

Which kind talk is that?

That Osimhen and Chukwueze, who are starring for Lille and Villareal will not make the team.

That is like saying Osaze and Ike Uche and Martins would not have made the team if Rohr was not coach. Heck, players Rohr is using now made the team before his arrival.

Other coaches earned far less and did more work in the local scene, while still handling their Super Eagles job.

Who are the other coaches?

Please mention coaches that did far better and earned far less, preferably in this decade.

Don't drag is back to the 90's if you can, because everyone with two eyes knows that the local players we have today are not even a quarter of the quality of those players

Rohr watched CHAN, and that is supposed to be a team of the best local players. People that were collecting from Togo are the ones you expect someone that has sense, to go and be picking players from?

In fact, in what sane clime does the coach have the responsibility of scouting players? Where does it happen? What is Salisu's job description, if it is Rohr that is supposed to scout local players?

Maybe you should submit your CV to NFF and apply for Rohr's job. Sunday Oliseh kuku talk pass this one that time.

I can tell you for free that Rohr has pushed our players to seek better leagues to play in the National team.

It is not a coincidence that they are going to France or Spain instead of Turkey.

has it not happened before?

Were we not here when a bunch of farmers and carpenters were fielded over the likes of Mikel and co under Oliseh and Siasia respectively?

Is it because you are seeing the Osimhen in Lille? Do you know if Osimhen could have been in Lille today considering the tumultous path his career took?

You just decided to wipe out the period of back to back AFCON failures because you are having it good today. Na so people dey do, when you pull them out of their wretched state, the next thing is to start feeling as if they are bigger than you and they could have done everything without you

Michael Edwards managed to sign Andy Robertson, Mo Salah and Takumi Minamino for a combined £51.5m

In that time he has sold Dominic Solanke, Kevin Stewart, Ryan Kent, Danny Ward and Andre Wisdom for £51.5m

That's how its done, unlike ManCity who goes about breaking FFP rules.

Again, you do not need Rohr to develop the local scene. That is the lazy thinking.

Rohr was appointed super eagles coach.

Rohr has watched several local league games, even got his phone stolen for his trouble.

It takes a lot of effort to get through some of these games because they are of low quality.

The problem with the league is structural.

When Leicester dropped Iheanacho, did Rohr not have talks with the managers concerning him? He even came to give us feedback. When Kelechi was playing rubbish and could barely get game time last year, did Rohr not take him to Russia despite that? Did he just drop him out of nowhere? Which club was doing work for him?

And for you to even include Uzoho's gist hen.....may somebody not rubbish your past efforts one day, in a bid to justify your struggles in the present.

I agree 100% ..until the league is restructured, calling up players from there to the national team would b a waste of time...some of the invited players will use the national team to get contract in some backwater leagues and we will have to call up another player from the league to replace them... and the cycle goes on and on..

Pinnick and the NFF should stop thinking that getting local players into the national team is the best way to develop the league. Keshi tried it and we didn't see any improvement in the league....
