A40: Alright, deal! But with a small caveat. If you win the bet, I venmo you 100 usd heck i'll even admit MJ is the GOAT. However, If i win the bet, I don't want your money but you'll admit LeBron is the GOAT and desist all slander. Its a win win for everyone involved. You get the money, bragging rights and no excuses. You literally have nothing to lose here since you're obviously going to win. |

Honestiy, i am still trying to figure out what's happening. Perhaps the lingering effect of the Christmas joy. A40: |

The most interesting about this fight is that both fighters think their opponent is light work.

The NYtimes just wrote friggin pieceof sh*t https://www.nytimes.com/2019/12/25/sports/basketball/stephen-curry-lebron-james.html |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 6:36pm On Dec 28, 2019 |
Killrhymz: LOL! I saw it man, the NY times are a joke these days but still, how daft do you have to be to write something like that and post a bold headline like that on it? i guess they got what they wanted, the clicks. I don't really have anything against steph, i will give him his props but when people start putting out dumb sh-t like this you best believe we will have something to say about this. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 8:31pm On Dec 28, 2019 |
steady986: I agree with the starters but the only problem is that somehow the NBA insists on listing luka as a front court player |
Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 8:41pm On Dec 28, 2019 |
zelgiusdigby: I think the issue is that some people cannot differentiate between the best player in an era and one whose play/style changed the game. MJ was better than Magic but in terms of on court dynamic Magic was the one who brought in the dynamic that a 6ft 9 player can play PG. Same thing with this last decade LBJ is hands down the best player of the decade but Steph changed the game drastically in the same decade, changing what used to be considered a bad shot into a good one. 1 Like |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 10:21pm On Dec 28, 2019 |
Khanben: Hes listed as a guard |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 10:21pm On Dec 28, 2019 |
steady986: Butler >>> Embiid this season |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 10:21pm On Dec 28, 2019 |
Khanben: Speaking of changing the game, LBJ as far as player movement changed the game. The heatles with their small ball and pace and space system changed the game. Granted not as much as curry but if you couple that with the fact that there is not one category where steph outshines lebron this decade its just absurd for anyone to put steph ahead of him. Like paul pierce of all people said "if you dont think LBJ is hands down the player of the decade you don't know basketball". |

Lebron stans always triggered. |

Eruditor: We have every right to be.
|
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 11:31pm On Dec 28, 2019 |
zelgiusdigby: Like his team lost to the Clippers. So what? Just egg him to load manage and be fresh for the playoffs. Remember from the jump I said LBJ's road to being the best player in the NBA has to come via FMVP? |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 12:33am On Dec 29, 2019 |
Eruditor: I'm not worried about the clippers. I'm certainly not worried about LeBron, he knows how to take care of himself and he'll be ready when the time is right. The clippers winning hinges on lebron playing horribly. Playoff LeBron is real, i've seen it. Only a team as stacked as the warriors were can stop that. Kawhis midrange or beverlys pesky defense just doesnt instill as much fear. And dont even get me started on paul george. This championship barring any major injuries to either teams is the lakers to lose. I can feel it in my bones. |

This is getting interesting. |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 4:23am On Dec 29, 2019 |
Lmaoooo watch this Sixers and Heat game and come and tell me about Ben Simmons. Lol this ninja is short 1 on offense literally. Baba will drive 4 ft to the rim and at the slightest whiff of shot blocking pass the ball backwards sometimes in mid air. What use is a player with supposed MVP potential that cannot take over a close game |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 4:40am On Dec 29, 2019 |
Lool he must have an NL burner account cos he just got a put back bucket and sent it to overtime |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 4:51am On Dec 29, 2019 |
Ok. Two buckets in overtime. Maybe this slander thing works after all |

Kuzma is a problem oh |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 5:19am On Dec 29, 2019 |
A40: He didn't have a preseason. Just getting his legs back. This is the kuzma everyone expected to see. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 5:31am On Dec 29, 2019 |
Danny Green is like that guy at the office that shows up once a week and still collects one of the biggest paychecks. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 5:34am On Dec 29, 2019 |
Ive always told people a non athletic Lebron is magic Johnson with a better jumper. This man will play until he's 40. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 5:42am On Dec 29, 2019 |
Ben Simmons is really holding this sixers team back. His refusal to shoot makes their offense stagnant. |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 5:49am On Dec 29, 2019 |
zelgiusdigby:He's the ultimate X-factor on the team. |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 5:59am On Dec 29, 2019 |
Khanben:People swear he does a lot of stuff well. They are right, but as a #1 pick one of those things should be scoring and having some form of consistency on offense not relying on opportunistic putbacks and alley oops. He can't shoot late in games, cannot take it to the hoop for fear of being fouled and having to make free throws. It's frustrating to see as a neutral so I can only imagine how Sixers fan must feel 1 Like |

Didn't know Kuzma could pass like that. |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 6:15am On Dec 29, 2019 |
Something must also be said about how much Jimmy Butler has improved as an all-round player. He had to make All-NBA for sure 1 Like |

This lakers team needs shooting. I mean a certified sniper or two. |
