Yari.ba peeps are patented loudmouths and the poster of the above crap is a living example. What a goon. Benjamin Adekunle was never a good soldier. He was a mere mess officer, cook, before the war started. You can verify the pedigree of Adekunle from Alabi-Isama or alani akinrinade.

Dede you get time to dey answer that kid that claimed Gowon released Awo from the Eastern Region because he saw a picture of them shaking hands in Dodan barracks grin grin

The Yorubas are more diplomatic than the Igbos but the Igbos are more decisive. One reason why I want Igbos to be on their own is to achieve their own destiny. Do you love to always be under the shadows of the Fulanis? I believe so much in secession and it would take an extremely strong argument to change my mind. If we are threatened with War then we were never meant to be one in the first place.

I also want the Yorubas to be a separate nation. However wants are different from reality.

Most of us online have been shouting on top of our voice for years about the problem bedeviling Nigeria and the path to redemption.

There are two cases, restructuring or secession. For restructuring we all know the political class whether Igbo, or yoruba are double-mouthed, they chant restricting when in opposition and are against it when in government.

Then the next is through secession. Still on still we need our leaders on this. You can argue the Igbos in their entirety want Biafra but you can as well see that most of your leaders are sabotaging that effort. When the issue of python dance happened, most of your leaders are in support of the FG. This same case will apply to a Yoruba chanting on the street of Ibadan about secession, the political class will hound him up.

This leaves us with some options. The fight by each tribe has to first be within. You should first deal with your political class before venturing into other people domain. There will always be backlash if an Igbo is abusing a Yorubas and vice versa. This implies that there will never be consensus on issues and we will keep going around in circles.

What if the Igbos deal with the pro-Nigeria leaders among them on their own, and the Yorubas deal with the anti-restructuring among us. If it’s a protest against our own, we can make use of the stronger pro-secessionist or pro-restructuring politicians as the pole to launch the assault, I think we will start seeing results.

When you deal with those within first, then only can you face the middle government mainly dominated by those Hausa/Fulanis.

Bro, what is your proposition? If restructuring is very hard to achieve do you feel secession will be more easier?

I like realistic talks, what path do you think you can go to achieve a new country even with the Yorubas by your side judging the current political situation of Nigeria?

What is your proposition? A full blown war of the south against the core-North (purposely removed some part of middle belt) or a peaceful resolution among the leaders of the south and the north on a breakup.

If you take the latter, then it will NEVER be possible since restructuring cannot be possible like you opined which leaves us with only the war route!

Will be waiting for your answer.

when they say restructure, they mean biafra....

na them came up with that restructure word all of a sudden because biafra was harder to get....

till today, they cant exactly tell you what they wan restructure....

You can call it chest beating all you like but we can see where the pattern events presently is heading and it's towards violent conquest/war. It's clear to all Igbos while some other tribes are starting to realise it. Notice Danjuma's recent comments directed to Yorubas. It was a subtle warning to your people to wake up and face reality. Igbos don't need such message as everyone can see. Ojukwu's mistakes have been studied very well and no such mistakes will be made again. We are making peaceful negotiations with the powers that be at present but are lively to the fulani jihad on-going at present. We don't mince words or hesitate to let them know we're ever ready for whatever they're mustering. Whatever you see from my post shows which side you're on.

Is that why y'all abandoned your struggle for an independent republic and queued behind another Fulani man in the 2019 elections?

Continue to deceive yourself.

The FG initially declared Police Action (not outrightly war) and even after declaring war, it was still treating the Biafrans with kid gloves.

As per Foreign allies, both sides had foreign support and used foreign mercenaries which is not illegal.

Russia and Britian didn't deploy their troops to Nigeria in 1967-1970 and if you have any EVIDENCE (not beer parlour rumours) that they did, please post it here for all to see.

true....it started as police duties but they saw that as invasion....

The end result of that footage you just watched was what I told you earlier (except you are trying to be intentionally daft)... the objective of capturing Ikot Ekpene (as the mission in that video clearly stated) was successfully achieved... yes in the long run Biafra lost the war, but every ardent student of history knows that was only because the superpowers like Britain, Russia, and even the United States and almost the rest of Nigeria almost single-handedly won the war for Nigeria.

Yari.ba peeps are funny as hell. Benjamin Adekunle's command was so ridiculed that he abandoned his infamous 3MCDO and ran back to Lagos where Gowon promptly made him a traffic officer at the Apapa Wharf. Yari.ba are colorful story tellers. It is either Lt Col Francis Fajuiyi wanted or died to protect Aguiyi Ironsi or Onipanu was bombed out by Biafran air force even though Biafra had no meaningful air force or Benjamin Adekunle was the best thing God created after a loaf of bread or the wrestling match over cocoa yam tuber called Kiriji was the third world war which was never fought yet the loudmouthed goons were routed by peasants from Sokoto Caliphate.

If we are still talking about biafra both sides where wrong, and there was a lot of attrocities and injustice done against other Nigerians during the civil war madness.
It's two way, your kind of justice prescribes non reconciliation thus justifying the alienation of the Igbos round about.

What you see is different, what others see are different too.
It's only in compromise by abandonment for trust, peace and reconciliation that we can all play our cards above deck.

1) The truth will always remain the truth. They don't have to be what we wish ,like or expected. As a matter of fact, truths are more often than not, bitter and comfortable.

I have just stated what I know to be the truths about the outcome of Igbos going to war under the present circumstances.

2) Most Biafrans enthusiasts seems to have a common problem; difficulty in accommodating dissenting opinions and a great tendency to see those who hold contrary views as enemies.
They seems to be more idealists than realists.

3) Whether I hate or love Igbos is immaterial. My hatred or love of Igbos can't help or oppose to get Biafra.

4) Actions do have consequences. Have you sat down to sincerely ask why do Nigieria refuse to allow Igbos to secceed?

It's not that Nigeria is gaining anything superb from the Igbos but because of the consequences of such seccession; total disintegeration of Nigeria!

5) If Igbos are allowed to secceed freely from Nigeria, then there will be no justification not to allow Efik, Ogoni,Ijaw, Yoruba, Nupe, Edo or Baribas to secceed freely from Nigeria, thus if Biafria should secceed, it means there will be no Nigeria left as several tribes(especially Ijaw, Ogoni, Urhobos etc) will also wish to be on their own as small homogeneous countries with billions of dollars from oil reserve like UAE, Quatar, Bahrain etc.

Yujin:

Lol. Your type don't reason with emotions and your prejudice against Igbos is glaring. We know are enemies and they're not those who are rational to understand freedom. Our enemies are the 'One Nigerianists' who support the evil government of Nigeria to suppress us. Every regions position is easily determined today as information transmission is very easy at present. So, we know our enemies. Igbos know it's going to be an annihilation warfare. One thing is certain at the end and that is that Nigeria will never remain one. Who will gain more from both sides? I'm sure you know it is us that want freedom. We won't pity those that will be trapped in Nigeria with the fulanis. Ponder on this.

Anyone with a good knowledge of International politics, Law and History knows that unilateralion of seccession in a sovereign Country is an act of war.

Lt.Col Chukwuemeka Ojukwu with a degree in History from the Presitigious Oxford University knew this and prepared for it.
The civil did NOT start suddenly on a particular date, it actually started with Cascade of actions and reactions which eventually culminated into war.

Dedetwo:

The question you should ask was Biafra allowed to see a day of peaceful existence without foisted with a war of attrition? If Biafra was allowed a year of existence such questions would have been asked and reasonable answers would have been supplied too. Biafra did not start the war. Nigerian forces, without warning, attacked a peaceful region that decided to go its separate way.

Lol. See the one talking about truth! Where's truth in Nigeria when her foundation is hinged on lies. You accuse us of being idealist than realist whereas, we're just the opposite. Between you and us, who is justified in our aims? We seeing the rot, favouritism and glaring religious extremism and hence opted for Biafra while you on the other hand prefers the sustenance of all the maladies troubling the evil contraption just so that 'some small homogeneous countries' will not be rich like the UAE,Qatar etc. The wanton destruction of lives bothers you not. The injustices don't mean a thing to you. All that concerns you is that Nigeria must not be allowed to disintegrate. Now between you and I, who's more realistic? You know, I use to wonder why Ahmadu Bello was so confident to call some people cannon fodder aka willing slaves until I began to study human psychology. I later found out that some people are wired so to willingly aid others in achieving their personal goals while being spent in the process. That description aptly captures you and your likes.
The first Biafran war was fought with a lot of misinformation and misunderstanding. Ignorance was much those days and the bad press from the Nzeogwu's coup worked heavily against Biafra. Today, without Igbos in the front burner of Nigeria's politics, the excruciating poverty in the land has made majority of the non-hausa/fulanis to see where their problem is coming from. The boko haram and fulani herdsmen have done incalculable damage to whatever alliance you 'one Nigerianist' can muster today. We also know those who will always tag along with the fulanis even if all their lands have been overrun by the terrorist herdsmen. So, you see that your so called federal army will be composed of some particular set of the present Nigeria unlike as it was before.
It amuses me whenever I see you likes shouting and jeering all over the internet of how Igbos are the most hated ethnic group. The sure thing is that we may not be liked by a lot of people, but majority of such people are not irrational to know what awaits them in this your Nigeria. They won't let hate to blind them from seeing their real enemies unlike you and your likes. While fulanis are gradually conquering minority tribes and occupying their lands without you uttering a word in protest, all that bothers you in the preservation of the contraption to enable them have total domination in the future. That simply makes you an unsolicited accomplice of the fulanis. Smart tribes have seen this and are ready to grab the life option that Biafra offers. Recently, Danjuma came to shake you out of the hypnotic spell he assumed had befallen you not knowing it was your deliberately cunning skill.
Finally, I wish to tell you that the pros and cons have been weighed and has been concluded that Igbos and whoever are with them wouldn't remain in Nigeria after two attempts at leaving. We got the numbers and human resource to grow to a super nation. Meanwhile, with what Danjuma knows, he's presently not sleeping. I suggest you shouldn't too.

That's why I insist you're not only unlettered on the facts about the war, but also slow to a painfully dyslexic level. Those counties you mentioned gave Biafra support only through DIPLOMATIC means( like officially and unofficially recognizing Biafra as a sovereign nation), and in some capacity providing aides like food, medical supplies and other relief materials via their routes to the beleaguered Biafran population. They never provided military support to Biafra...only France did provide Biafra with some military aid, but that came at a rather belated time when the Biafran resistance was badly unsustainable due to months and months of starvation and lack of consistent military support, and even those military supplies were meager at best...Biafra had to wholly rely on home made weapons like the popular Ogbunigwe to keep the struggle going for as long as it did. Stop amplifying your arduous ignorance by making a bigger fool of yourself.

And yeah we surely can't stand a month against your awesome Nigerian army, after all we can already see how well they are doing against almighty Boko haram and ISWAP... Delusional mo.ron.

The stupid actions adopted in African continent do not permeate into the fabric of international law. A unilateral declaration of independence (UDI) does not mean war. Nobody has the right to tell a group of people not to have independent home talk less of foisting a war on them. It could only happen in backwater continent such as Africa. European continent has witnessed many disintegrated countries without wars.

Bros read widely about seccession from antiquity. No Country willingly agree to it's own disintegeration.

1) Ireland was dominated by the English for 800 years and their country was forcibly incorporated in the United Kingdom. They had to fight a war before half of their country gained indepence in 1922.
Till today, Northern Ireland is still a component unit of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

2) Catalonia is a historic region in Europe. Today about 80% of the Historic Catalonia has been part of Spain for over 400 years and they are still agitating for their indepence.

3) The One China policy: Taiwan was forced out of the UN in 1971 to pave way for China because China insist that Taiwan is just a province under China and not a separate country.

Today, Hong kong, Macao and Taiwan (with disputes) are parts of China.
The Uighurs are still fighting for indepence

4) The issue of Israel and Palestine is a well known one.
