Regarding the topic:
While it seems there is a connection to be made between education and conceited behavior in women, I certainly do not see the alternative (illiteracy/being uneducated) as the solution.

As a matter of fact, true education rests in the understanding that good character and exemplary social behaviors are very important aspects of a truly educated person.

A woman with all the degrees and certificates but without an exemplary attitude and social character, is really not fully educated to me. Same way an illiterate woman with all the exemplary social manners and attitudes, is in fact quite educated enough to me, as is.

There is a reason why the standard verbose uttered while being presented with a Bachelor's degree usually goes something like this:
"...having fulfilled the requirements of the University in character and in academics, we are pleased to..."
Something of that sort but you get the point.

Although, these words have now become taken for granted in the Nigerian educational system, but believe me when I tell you, no erudite higher-learning institution anywhere in the world will ever graduate an all A's student who has a very questionable character.
There must be a balance.

Only women who were given mushroom education see their literacy as a license for conceited behavior, and they are very easy to spot.

I agree. Education is not a problem, but the wrong kind of education. As Nigeria is culturally synchronized with the west, especially the anglophones, it can be understood why many gentlemen on this thread are convinced that education does more harm to women, which is not true. The wrong kind of western education is the fault (especially the commercialized leftist version), and as humans generally are hedonistic and will not channel brainpower to intense reasoning and see reality for what it is, it is easy to fall prey to the toxicity that comes with mainstream ideologies that are distributed through porn, pop culture, materialism, consumerism, and indoctrination in the form of education.

The feminine women that are will make wonderful partners I have ever seen are all educated, coming from cultures that is not predominantly poisonous to the soul.

If you find such women, you will truly understand what the bible meant about finding a good thing. These are why you would see western men trooping to Asia and Eastern European countries because the women are educated, not culturally assimilated to their western decaying western values, and retains their femininity. Education is not a problem, but the wrong kind.
