The problem is that he kept quiet and did nothing about it. Now that they have added new courses to the curriculum, the school may ask him to do those courses. I am also a DE student. And when my name was omitted from the graduation list this year, I did the needful. I have gotten two phone calls from the head quarters already, telling me they have acknowledged the mistake.

When things like this happen, we mustn't just do nothing. We must do everything.

How were you able to contact the H/Q?

My project is pending? Kindly assist.

I didn't contact the HQ. I only wrote a letter to them. A month later, they contacted me.
Regarding your project, there are two things you can do
1. Write a letter to HQ and talk to your Head of faculty at your study Centre about the matter
2. Go straight to Abuja with your identifications and documents and lay your complaint.

I'm not so fond of option 2, but at least it's better than doing nothing.

He should write a letter to the HQ, by addressing it to the head of his department. He should also talk to the head of faculty at his study Centre. Without a formal letter at the HQ, I'm not sure they will do anything. This is because everything has to be documented.

Few years ago, it never had any effect on cgpa. I don't know about now. Some claim it does, some are not very sure. I guess the best way to find out is to go to the study Centre and ask one of your faculty officers.

I don't know you, but I have to say this, you are blessed. NOUN is one of those schools that responds to email, and staff/department info can be found on their website.

NOTE:

While doing 1st semester 2020 students portal registration, please be cautious of your details. Put your details correctly, starting with your matriculation number, surname, other names, phone number, email address, state of origin and finally your preferred/comfortable password then, carefully recheck to confirm.
Change your difficult 2019 2nd semester password that were given to you at your study center or NOUN headquarters to the one you can easily remember.

Wish you a successful registration

So I should go to school of nursing first for 3years before I can be given admission in noun?
Yes, for noun. But better if you go to regular University, it's 5years, instead of 3years school of nursing then another 4years in noun making total 7years. If u have the money, private is better. Make sure it's accredited though. And avoid schools in Togo and Benin Republic

Hello house,
Please I will like some one to help with some information for NOUN Msc programme.

1. What is the maximum credit load per semester? Still
24units for Msc ?

2.How much do they charge for a 3credits and
2credits course registration and exam?

3. How much is the semester compulsory fee for MSc
students?

4. Some years back in while in first semester you can access and register for even second semester courses so far you have not exceeded the 24units max unit, please can someone confirm if this can still be done?

5. Looking at the requirements for MBA I observed most of the first degree courses listed as requirements are mostly management courses, does it mean NOUN MBA programme is not open for students with first degree in science courses?

Please I will be glad if someone can provide with useful and correct answers to the above questions.

Cheers!

Please guys, what is the process for application and admission in NOUN as a prospective student?

I have looked at the website (it seems there are so many but not sure which is the original? I tried this http://www.nou.edu.ng), and i saw a link to apply for admission (https://www.nouonline.net/) I clicked this and got an error code, the page doesnt seem to be working.

In general, how does NOUN work, I am just checking this for the first time for my sister.

Please help, thank you.

The right website for application to NOUN is nouonline.net
However, wait till January 10, admission is not taking place for now.
In other words, the school is on break.

Once the date is reached, come back again and we will show you the procedure.
However, once you go to nouonline.net, as you scroll down you will see undergraduate admission. That's what you should click. It's not working for now... Like I said, the school is on break.
