Well, I don't think this should be.

It would have been more appropriate if the policy places emphasis on foreign trips by ministers only when it is very necessary. Otherwise, it should be at the expense of the traveller and no allowances (estacode) for such.

But placing a ceiling at the official number of foreign trips by public office holders doesn't seem to make sense.

It is possible a minister need not travel offially in a year, conversely, a minister may also need to go out of the country more than 10 times in a year. It all depends on necessity.

What exactly do you want

They will still wail and wail no matter what they read.
But are these wailers always like this 365 days of the year?!

We will always thank the ALMIGHTY GOD for giving us this great man.
Rather late than never.
Sane, honest and hard working Nigerians will forever be greatful to God for making this honest man of integrity our President, especially when our country was seriously raped from the left, right and center by rogues and criminals.

Nigeria will be great in our lifetime and those who are out there praying for unrest, bomb and wars will not be here to witness the good times coming.
No be curse,
Na FACT!

God bless Nigeria.

It’s important to see the full policy first.

Those working in structured companies understand what Lai is saying.

Where you need to exceed the limit you request special /exceptional approval detailing your mission , the benefits and commitment on delivering.

It’s most welcome

Ministers can only travel out of the country eight times in a year, Information, Culture & Tourism Minister Lai Mohammed has disclosed.

He said President Muhammadu Buhari has directed that no minister should go on foreign trips more than twice in a quarter.

Besides, no minister on a trip outside the shores of the land should go with more than four aides, who should be relevant to the trip.

Govt officials below the rank of ministers are henceforth entitled to fewer aides.

Besides, estacode would no longer be calculated on hourly basis.

THE COST OF GOVERNANCE IN NIGERIA IS EXTREMELY TOO HIGH.

DRASTIC RESTRUCTURING MEASURES MUST BE PUT IN PLACE TO CURB THE COST OF RUNNING THE NIGERIA PROJECT.

FEDERAL GOVERNMENT MUST DEVOLVE POWERS TO THE REGION

MOST OF THE FEDERAL MINISTRIES MUST BE SCRAPPED.

NIGERIA RISK BANKRUPTCY JUST AS EX-PRESIDENT OBASANJO HAS SAID.

Not basically from excessive borrowing but there are so many unproductive ministries and parastatals that are consuming money and generating NO WEALTH FOR THE NATION.

What's good about the news from lying machine, liar Mohammed? Is it the number of foreign trips that's important or the importance of such trips to the country.

So if a minister of transportation for instance has to travel to more than eight countries to bring meaningful development to the sector, because of the useless embargo, he cannot travel. These people think with their anus.

We said it then, governance is not for people using Pampers. Once you are past 60, you have no business in government house.
