Spoon feeding program that only happens in few schs, The man is not doing enough to ensure the govt sch children are benefitting from it. I never saw spoon feeding program going on in any of the schools I taught in Katsina, the children only feed n sell to themselves during break time with the little things they made from home And by afternoon they come out to pray zuhur prayers nd they close for d day. Nothing like govt spoon feeding program for them, maybe principals enjoying that money but the program is never happening in most govt schools in this country.

Ppl that are asking them to stop this program dunno there are thousands of ppl that benefit from this program. For instance, I kno of a company (sona agro allied foods) that produces biscuits at sango ota in Ogun state. They produce biscuits called Marshall to be taken to kano & kaduna fr this program, "not for sale" is bodly written on the biscuit. Stopping this program means thousands of ppl will become jobless I don't know how some people can be so myopic.
In fact, the program should be extended to all 36 states and even NGOs should support and make sure the funds meant for it is not looted .

How about you invest that money in training and retraining and constant continuous training of these teachers?

Because, you can bet your life these teachers are teaching them pupils nonsense.

Empower the parents with good jobs so they can feed their own kids with nutritious food.

Social INVESTMENT Program. That is what the entire suite of programs is called.
It is an INVESTMENT in people. For university graduates Nigeria reaps her investment in a few years.
For primary school kids, it is a longer term investment . If you call it waste, you are cursing yourself. Go back to Abayi to sell your second hand clothes to keke napep drivers or whatever other joke your PDP has turned your short term gain, myopic and unhappy country to.

Buhari is trying to invest in a fresh new generation. The kids deserve it. Dangote is almost spending JUST ZERO of his own money building a refinery. The FG is subsidizing his Forex, standing behind his international loans, guaranteeing is local markets et.c. Let poor man pikin enjoy primary education with free feeding.
There is 1 genius in every 10 kids.
