Let me pour out my mind so that I can let it flow with 2019. I lost my sister a week after giving birth to her first child in May, just 10 months after getting married. Her death left me so heart broken till date don't even know how to puts words together, is it the joy of hearing she deliver a baby girl, to the news of her not breathing well, to needing more blood, to getting of oxygen because her survival depends solely on it, to rushing from blood bank to the ward, to pharmacy, to lab, moving from one end to the other of LUTH, before they eventually decided she will be moved to ICU, to know space in LUTH to moving her to one life at Bolade where I watched her breathing through the matching, Afolashade watching you just responding with moving of your hands and legs whenever I call hurts me so much. I was broken when the doctor called that your heart stopped working. I cried, wept uncontrollable when you were been packed and moved to the Morgue, can't believed my eyes when you were being buried.

I'm not really a spiritual person but I must thank God for my life this year. It was filled with a lot of goodies.

I finished my doctorate early this year. Bought a massive family house for parents in lagos.
Opened a new business branch, though the branch is still yet to pick up.
Lost some money to a few bad investments, but recovered immediately.

Na to marry remain so. My mama don disturb me tire. Make I locate that lady this coming year.

God bless you all in 2020. Amen.

2019 wasn't particularly a good year for me.

March 22nd, two days after my mom's birthday I lost my immediate elder sister right before my eyes. God this hurts so so much..

I spoke with her till 11:48pm, she was full of life, never knew I would take her dead body to the mortuary the next morning.

How I wish I kept vigil with her.

Her six year old daughter's scream of 'my mommy, my mommy, my mommy' woke me up that morning.

I went to check my sister's pulse, didn't feel any, she was sleeping faced down. Was scared to agree with my conviction on what I thought it was until I summoned courage to flip her.

Lord have mercy, terrible urine smell oozed. My sister had choked. My own sister that I grew up with? Someone I spoke with last night? I was confused.

My breaking point was when my mom came to the hospital. She was looking at her daughter's dead body.

I almost died that moment.

Two months after I lost my job.

Things were hard.

Three month after I got another job, but it was filled deceit, had to stop.

Thank God for my family and my fiancé who have been wonderful and most supportive.

Been a very tough year but giving up is never an option.

Only thing I got is hope, that's the only thing I ain't giving up in my life

sorry bro...God will see you through

This is the saddest thread on NL embarassed I lost my grandma who was still in her 70s, lost my two cousins too, my best friend lost her boyfriend of 5 years, he was my friend too. Then another close friend committed suicide, he battled depression for a while. All this happened in the space of 2 month. 2019 has been emotionally tough for me. May God comfort us all.

I lost the most important thing in the world, the conscious presence of the Holy Spirit and His direction.

PS: The Holyspirit has been the most Integral person in my renewed relationship with God.
So I am presently on the road to realigning myself with Him.
Keep me in your prayers.

God will help you. just be asking for God mercy whenever you are praying. He's a merciful God and
Keep away from anything that could make you suffer a second lost( James 4:7&cool. It is not a pleasant experience to once

I was called by my former boss to hurriedly attend an interview, that my dream job I've been praying for had finally come. I hurried down to the recruiting company with my last money on me that day. I did the interview and I was accepted. The following day I was told to return, which I did. Now straight to business. I was told I'll run an engine at Escravos, two weeks in and two weeks out. The owner of the contract was a local government chairman in Warri, he already have more than one contract running in Escravos but he's also biding for the supply of Engines so he too will gain the percentage for every month. The owner of the contract made a mistake for buying fairly used Engines why others bought brand-new, thinking he could use his connection to skip through the test carried on each engine. Yes, they did low test at Chevron, that's how the Engines where rejected, all this process took more than three months. One should know how chevron follow their standard procedures which takes a whole lot of time. At the end, he lost the contract, me too lost the opportunity. But during the cause of the months which I spent waiting, the recruiting company employed me as their services engineer, base on my performance. I went for field work with them to Escravos during my awaiting time of the contract job. Currently, I'm at home for months waiting for opportunities. The recruiting company don't have field contract often. They deal more on sales and purchase of machines, vessel, maintenance and Marine equipment. Up till date, I still feel pained. I've applied and applied, yet nothing keep coming. I've done my humanly best. Owing three months rent already and I'm so worried and depressed at that

Bro. Sorry for the disappointment. Why not turn to God for help? Please read Psalm 46:1 Psalm 121 1& 2.
As we stepping into the new year 2020 your helper off destiny will locate you(amen).
Please don't look up to men again for help look unto God.

God bless you.

Repasted:it was like a Hollywood movie

Like being moved from first class to economy class in the twinkling of an eye

And the sad thing is , it wasn't God that did it, it was all me, I wanted to fast track to the next level, I had everything others dream.of but was never satisfied.

Moral of the story is , sometimes contentment isn't such a bad thing..

I should have done my wedding and maybe I wouldn't have had enough to follow through with this hence being saved from the worst night mare a man can have

I should have listened to her , sometimes women we what we don't see

Anyways it's all good

She had a miscarriage due to the whole stress and all , that also added to us ending everything. Sometimes a couple going through tough times together doesn't make them closer sometimes it splits them up.

Omo this year was a year I would rather forget
