Hello house,
For someone that wants to migrate to Canada to work or better still do his masters..he has a degree in Electrical Engineering and have worked in a bank for 4years as a POS Technician; POS configuration and troubleshooting...in the NOC ,he is not seeing anything related to his job role.what do you advice such a person?
Don't search for bank related experience, rather check for electrical maintenance and installation category. I'm sure you'll get something

Don’t be too quick to label people with names. While I understand that you were only trying to tell her to be vigilant, you indirectly called him a scammer in a subtle manner which is totally unacceptable as you don’t know him and can’t label him as such until proven otherwise. You could have passed your message in a better way than you did initially. Nobody would love being called a scammer especially when their intentions are pure. Peace

@prettiepearlz, first, I don't do banters so I will not respond beyond this. I did not call anyone a scammer, I advised the op to be very vigilant, that is all, you do not believe all you read in faceless forum like here hook, line and sinker. Moreso, if you have bean following this thread for a while, you will realise there are still people who come in here, post a seemingly innocent story, then end it with 'pm for advice' which does not help. We have been actively promoting page 1 to encourage people to do their personal research but it seems people just want to spoonfed info out here, smh. The materials on ielts on page one are very loaded and helpful but people hardly look into them. I used them to prepare for mine, and also joined a whatsapp tutorial class here and it helped. At least a clb 10 for a first time writer with no idea at all previously of ielts structure isnt too bad.

The idea I am putting across is simple, let us prompt people to research and look for info on things that have been made available, not fall into something they could later regret and not spamming the thread as that post would lead to with every newbies typing, 'send bla bla bla to my email', 'I have pmed you etc'. All the gurus of then that were so helpful to us then, peeps like ifeoma, Topsmamen, joo2018, 40man, new mum don't even bother to show up again to help. Why? Because the thread is now overrun with people looking unwilling to just go through page 1and their enablers; unfortunately, so many genuine questions are being ignored, because the people that could have helped are not seeing them in the myriad of unhelpful post here and there. I truly hope the thread does not degenerate further and goes back to the way it used to be. Peace!

while your point is noted, it is also interesting to know that people have different levels and understanding and learning abilities so despite these materials, they still need some form of assistance or encouragement or tutorials. You were privileged to join a whatsapp group yeah, I wasnt. i asked a number of times without response. So you are smart, we are smart but some of us need more support.
A CLB 10 for a first time writer is amazing, but how many people have written more than 2 times and are still struggling? Not everybody wants to be spoon fed, some just need help genuinely. So research, study and ask for help where you need to.

This post is about my much awaited IELTS victory. Am grateful to God for giving me LRSW 97.57.57.5 in my third attempt after 9977 and 8877.

I was stuck at 7 for writing and speaking. Because I never liked writing practice essays before test day, I avoided all the tutors that were advertised on this platform. At some point, I contacted johnnybravo, bought his book and even paid for a session of speaking practice.

All these happened before God sent me an angel during our CIMA waka. I told her about my IELTS struggle and she told me she tutors for writing and speaking and she could give me a discount because I helped her through CIMA. I was skeptical at first because of the practice writing but her encouragement was on another level lool. She opened my eyes to the reasons why I was stuck at 7, taught me how to write better essays and get more marks in speaking.

Long story short, 14th December reading tried to kill my shine but God had better plans for me. With this score, I'll be at 471 when WES completes my CIMA evaluation!

Hello house,

1. I am looking for ways to increase my point for the EE, I went through the link for BCS IT and planning to take that route, but I will like to know someone that took the exam recently to please put me through.

2. Do you advice I start my WES evaluation before getting my additional degree, or do you advice I wait for my additional degree before WES evaluation?

What is the most efficient way to resend my certificate to WES?

I had made a solid arrangement for the transcript & certificate to be sent together to WES as I did provided the school a photocopy. I also follow-up on the courier agent to ensure all is done perfectly & given a positive feedback. After WES earlier acknowledging receiving the document (s). I'm surprised to see a new update needing certificate.

I get where you're coming from but you have to admit that on this thread, there are more scammers than you'd think. Some People here masquerade as if they have application issues meanwhile they are just looking for someone to fleece. It's the same on the CIMA and PNP thread too. So it's come to the point that you can only trust certain monikers. Although it is good to know that the guy was just honestly trying to help.

Dear All,

Re: recent conversation on 'scammers' a post on finding a husband to go with on this EE journey, my one cent is for young single people to be careful.

It might seem like an innocent joke on looking for a life partner but really there are people lurking around this thread just to find others that they can take advantage of to achieve their greener pasture dream. They really are not bothered about finding love or the right person.

They see a guy/lady, aged below 30, has masters and Jackpot!!! they are tracking you down. I recently saw a post on IG on 'getting you a girl who can pass IELTS'; as much as it was funny, it just shows the maligned mindset of some peeps.

Please don't make yourself a prey to this things.

NB: I am not saying you can't find true love here, it is possible. And if you are all about the arranged structure, by all means- you both are adults anyways

Hello house, someone should please help me with the difference between this two questions.
1. In the last ten years, how many years of skilled work experience in Canada do you have?
2. In the last ten years, how many total years of foreign skilled work experience do you have?

P.S: My fiance is about to start her profiling for the express entry and she's worked for an equivalent of 12 months but there was a break in between 8 month and the remaining 4, does that affect the one year continuous work experience requirement?
