Your situation seems awkward as you juxtaposing yourself to Rivers state without even giving a rethink to your geographical location.

Do you really understand what historical appreciation means this boy. The statement alone explains why the name you answering doesn't belong to your place which means it is borrowed and you here going off tangent.

That's due to arrival of the whiteman religion. Even to thisday there are Igbo people that doesn't have English name.

Chinua Achebe in course of his life journey dropped his English name to fully assume his native name.
