charlesemeka85: “Everybody wants to represent the Super Eagles of Nigeria especially watching Kanu Nwankwo and Austin Jay Jay Okocha who are my idols while growing up,” Noah Okafor told SportingLife. “It will surely be a dream come true. I also have family in Nigeria and they will really be happy seeing me represent Nigeria.” 1 Like |

Samuel Kalu is now a major doubt for Bordeaux's first game of 2020 - a Coupe de France match against Le Mans at the Stade Matmut-Atlantique (Bordeaux) on Friday night. For the fourth consecutive day, the Nigeria international did not participate in first team training on Tuesday, December 31. It was earlier suggested that Kalu was absent from training because he was recovering from an undisclosed illness. Shedding more light on the absence of the winger, regional newspaper Sud Ouest explained : "The treatment room begins to empty. "If he is very ill , Samuel Kalu mainly has a passport problem which blocked him in Nigeria. Will he be back this week? " Signed from KAA Gent in the summer of 2018, Kalu has been linked with a move away from Bordeaux in the January transfer window after losing his spot in the starting eleven. Meanwhile, Josh Maja seems to have put his injury concerns behind him as he was seen in good spirits during today's workout, jumping on his teammates when they scored. |

The major issue is that the nff fail to understand that securing this kids in diaspora is easier when they are unknown and still playing youth team football for their respective clubs but they will only make a move when the players makes it to the first team and their country of birth comes calling. No matter how we paint it which is sentimentally based, playing for countries like England, Holland, Germany, Italy and Spain will be more attractive to this kids and the chances of turning us down is very high and when that happens we tag them unpatriotic ChrisKels: |

Nope. Shittu was sh!tty but the rest (Yobo, Odiah, and Taiwo) were solid in their prime. However, Chidi Odiah was badly hindered by injuries tho. In fact, if Odiah wasn't injury prone, that dude would've been one of the best Nigerian players in memory. Nne, holla at me. I have something I need to discuss with you asap.
