There's a reason Eminem, Nas, Jigga, Pac, Biggie and even Dre & 50 are referred to as legends, there are far better rappers than them but these are the cream of the crop. Mode 9 is the best lyricists but a major failure in terms of success, M.I.'s success far outweighs all other Nigerian rappers combined except for maybe Olamide(technically not a rapper).
