lecturerdabo: Ikenna, Siena and other gurus in the house, Pls what is your advice on BMW E36M50 1999? i doubt. i do not think the E36 model was produced in 1999. 1998 had the M52 engine, last production. the 328, 323 were in production in 1998, both having the M52. M50 ran from 1993 (not too sure) and it was found in the 320, 325... |

The E36 was 1993-1999 and mostly come with M42 the most reliable engine. which i have right now in 2013. M50 and M52 was for 5series, and it's single exhaust. 08029067610 and nt giving problem and its 4 valve not 6 |

M50 and M52 was for 5series, and it's single exhaust. 08029067610 and nt giving problem and its 4 valve not 6you are not correct at all jimtex, in the 3 series, M42 was found in the 4 cylinder version in the early 90s, from 92 the M50 non vanos production sprung, after which the single vanos M50 was produced. This was found in the 320 and 325. That means there were vanos and non-vanos versions of these cars (320 and 325) the vanos were the technically Updated engines. 1n 96/98, there were the 328 which succeeded the 325. In '98 also there was the 320 and 323, these were M52 engines. So 328, 323 and 320 in the later years had M52 engines... |
