I deeply appreciate your reply to my question.

Q1. I was asking a question. I'm currently with a company at the same time, I have registered part-time business which also gives me money. How do I enter both in my DS-160 form or should I leave the business out? That was the question.

Flight from Nigeria to New York is far cheaper and it saves the family lots of money for other purposes while the revert is the case for Florida.
And I am thinking of overcoming the challenge at POE explaining that I am going to Florida as stated in my application but suddenly landing at JKF.

Newyork is among the us states near canada, and many nigerians/illegal aliens hv easily crossed over ro canada by foot.....so its likely gonna be a huge red flag for rhw VO, not withstanding ur supzd good intentions..
If you still insist of going this route, you better book and print ur ny to florida ticket for the interview....
Hope rhe supzd difference in flight fare is worth all this hassle?

wow...what can i say..i think its just luck and favour like u said... I dont have plans of staying more than 2-3weeks cos of my business..I'm scared they might not grant me the visa cos i dont have huge sum in my account...I'm yet to apply though..What would u advice I do?

Well the truth is, the rate if denial has increased since 2016 and getting worst now. Sometimes they don't ask for statement of account so u might be lucky on that.
My advice to you is to travel to somewhere first before applying. Last week a senior banker friend of mine with seizable salary was denied cos no travel history.
Then meet an expert in Visa documentation.

Hello people,
Please, I'd like to know if I would be allowed into the US on a passport that would expire in 4months. Is it compulsory for my passport to have at least 6month's validity?
Thanks.
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by Enick: 7:12am On Dec 29, 2019
Thanks. As advised, I will stick with the Florida route and save myself of unnecessary stress and questioning.

Unlikely immigration/airline would allow you board on the nigerian side, the americans rarely start flipping tru your passport to check expiry.

The safest option is to go and renew your passport, and travel with both passport, ie new + about to expire PP

New York can be part of it all, especially if it's gonna make your trip cheaper and also afford you the opportunity to see the city at the same time. I have previously filled NY, TX and GA before as part of my itinerary in one trip without hassles

If I recall correctly, you can put two or more employment in the DS160. If you leave end date of both employment as ongoing, you have satisfied Q1 of your post

Q2. Five years is five years. Leave it like that. When VO receives your Passport at the interview, they will see the visas and immigration stamps.

Q3. You can do anything in the USA. Just make sure you clearly have a realistic itinerary to show the vacation spots and travel.

Florida to NY involves some commute time and cost. Additional boarding/ travel needs to be factored

When a VO mentally calculates cost of flight from NG to NY and OR and back with a family unit, feeding, shopping etc against combined income of both adults...

He can only fill one occupation. But he can state others during interview and or in the space provided for him to describe his job. Most important IMO however is for him to state his average earning from all sources of employment and hussle instead of just the one from his major employment.

Get your visa first before worrying about that.

Lol, hunger dey Nigeria, Pharoah, Herod, Nebudcadnezzar aka Buhari don close border and plenty Nigerians are hungry looking for ways to eat banga soup and starch, meet an expert in visa matters could be interpreted loosely in different forms, it could imply, meet a visa expert and the mugu will send a PM to the poster( Guyman) and the poster will lead the mugu to the slaughter slab, they will collect visa documentation money to chop amala, bokoto, shaki, fried chicken and turkey plus Hennessey in the new year, the victim will be denied the visa and the cycle continues for another victim, wetin person no go read for Nairaland.com shocked

Bro, we ain't kids here so please stop. Firstly, you marketed yourself by saying you documented for a couple without travel history and they got it.

Then you proceeded to advise that the poster contacted an expert in documentation, simply put, an agent to falsify documents etc. Its things like this that has earned Nigeria and Nigerians the notoriety across the globe. Y'all should please stop for the sake of all unborn kids. We are begging

I traveled in July/August 2019 with a passport that would expire in October, 2019. No issues going in and out. I was still stamped in for 6months. It is advisable to renew still.

I think strongly that for some countries; you can actually travel with less than 6months validity.
I traveled to the US with less than 6months validity.

Nigeria has a kind of agreement or reciprocity policy with some countries that the citizens’ validity is deemed extended if it less that 6months. US has that with Nigeria. You can google it up.
