oyetunjibaba: Post utme in Uniport Okay let me leave sweet Talking about uniport and be honest on this one. Uniport Post Utme as At 2017 and 2018 when I wrote it was The toughest exam I ever sat for my whole life, The Examination as at that Year(s) Was A combination Of Your Jamb subject combo + maths. It is accustomed that every science student Must Take Maths Exams. Be it medical applicants or Engineering applicants, we all took maths exams. The post utme is 50 questions for 30 minutes, but just like every other examination situation that 30mins no resemble 30 minutes at all, It was much like 15mins to me, very fast and Brief. For medics, You do maths, English, physics, Chem, and biology, But there is no Regular Number for each subject, you may get More numbers of questions from Chem than English, and more from maths than physics. In 2017 I had Maths and physics dominate my 50 questions, If I can remember probably, I had about 30 questions from those two subjects combined.. Sometimes u might be in luck and get More of English and biology like I did in 2018.. And one uniqueness of uniport is that YOU GET TO SEE YOUR RESULTS IMMEDIATELY after you submit your test as it is a CBT exam.. That means you get to know your admission chance before leaving the hall. But 2019 brought a twist to things, the UNIQUE UNIVERSITY OF PORT HARCOURT senate decided to dilute Maths as a Compulsory subject for Medics, So u only Do what you did in your jamb, that is Jamb combo only. And this year recorded crazy scores In post utme.. In 2018 scoring 280 in the post utme is equivalent to scoring 330 in jamb, as 280 then was a big deal, but last year we had a lot 300+ in the post utme due to The removal of maths. So the exam Which was once the Hardest entrance exam in the whole of West Africa(My thought) is now as Easy to pass as common entrance. And Just to add, Uniport Post Utme is BASICALLY Jamb past questions, They just upload the questions on their server and the system shuffles Questions for You, each shuffling different for each candidate. So for guys way Sabi cram past questions, una get home advantage for this one. So what score should one have in mind to be guaranteed of a med slot? A score of 280-350 Is the Safe zone for jamb. While a post Utme score of 280-328 is needed for post utme. In 2017 I had 292 and 240 in jamb and post utme respectively and I didn't get It, as the rumored cut off mark then was an aggregate of 284. Although a friend of mine got in with the same Score, but he was From a different state.. Just like I explained before, each state has their quotas and The best scores of each states get selected. In 2018 i had 288 and 288 in the both exams and I made the merit list as the rumored cut off mark was 286.5. In 2019 due to the absence of maths The cut of mark rose a bit Higher, There are unconfirmed Rumored cut off mark, But A friend of my With 290 and 288 got Merit list(first list) so take that as the cut off mark. In summary Uniport post utme was once crazy and Though, But It No such thing any longer. I haven't seen anyone that had an aggregate of 300 and was denied admission, that nonsense don't happen in Unique uniport. So choosing Uniport as the Most Preferred choice in your Jamb For medicine and surgery is the best decision you can make if you are not the type that fancy competition or whose O level has No distinction in it, Or whose just an average student wanting to study medicine like I am. 3 Likes |

tomiwaaa: I Don Relate your question for the other guy.. E be like say I miss marking scheme. Marking scheme Nah Just normal Marking.. Nah 50 questions, Each question nah 1 mark. After Them Don mark you finish, dem go kon multiply Your score by 8 to grade am like jamb which is over 400.. So if you answer 30 questions correct, That's 30/50, 60/100, and 240/400.. Then for the school fees, I go tell you, but before I tell you, Mk I reason you say If Your eyes day hot say Nah medicine you Wan study, school fees No go too Purge your Belle. So No too reason the school fees my man. I no sure say Nah school fees dem day call am for here, E be like say Nah school charges.. But for freshers(medic) una go dash uniport Reach 120k so. Then from yr2 nah 45k. Hostel accommodation nah #20,500. And Hostel accommodation no follow School charges for body oo.. Nah different Pocket their two day enter. 1 Like |

ADATANGSAM:First year in unique Uniport /ofrima/college_hall/. You will love the school even though say biro na 50naira. You will learn with faculty of science (physics, chemistry, biology) where you are required 50% average to cross over to year2. General study courses are included. The workload isn't too much, you'll pull through with good level of seriousness.Exams are in theory, obj and practical forms. |

Yakira:Uniport is a federal school, AM not sure they would like Being picked As second choice, And even if they do, More Preference will be to those who selected them as first choice, and you might just end up being Robbed. And moreover even If you are considered for admission, your caps won't reflect Till you change them to first choice. And if it's medicine you're aspiring for, Then Second choice is a really Bad idea. 2 Likes |

Yakira: Right now, no public university will offer you Medicine or any top course on 2nd choice even if you cross the cutoff, especially for Medicine Be it federal or State Second choice exist now in theory only , it's practically useless. You've got one practical chance/choice only. 1 Like |
