genotype for both of you, blood group also for both of you especially if your wife is rhesus negative, tests for STIs like gonorrhoea, Chlamydia, syphillis and HIV for both of you.

a pelvic scan for her especially if your wife is older and yet to get pregnant to rule out fibroids and other issues.

A SFA or seminal fluid analysis for only you just to be sure that you aren't firing chromosomally abnormal or blank shots.

Let her start taking folic acid tablets.

He just proposed and she said "yes". He didn't say they had started the wedding plans. Do people do medicals after accepting/making a proposal?
