ositadima1: No one mentioned it is good or bad to be materialistic. I quoted you because you opined that she was contradicting herself by saying she doesn't like material things and at the same time claimed her husband built houses. 6 Likes |

Emmah123: ....overly concerned or preoccupied with material possessions rather than with intellectual or spiritual things... That is the Merriam Webster's dictionary definition of the word materialistic. Clothes, cars, houses, trucks,Tbills they all count as material possessions, but then I might be very wrong. 1 Like |

tracyorez: Madam in all your investments, avoid Nigerian stocks for now. Treasury bills remain the safest and lowest risk investment you can do pending when you get something better. It also helps to complement your monthly earnings. Capital preservation is the bedrock of long term wealth. Never forget that. 4 Likes |

You might be wrong, sir. Do a further Google search, and you will discover that one can only be described as materialistic if the ''bolded'' become the focal point of one's life! The reason the definition you quoted started with ''overly concerned.'' ositadima1: 4 Likes |
