All your players are not crap, Your coach is. For instance Xhaka , Ozil and Luiz were all crap under Emery but they put up masterclass performance yesterday.
Your own thief (Ole) came to destroy
Exactly

Because I did criticize ARTETA for our Chelsea loss when he pulled out OZIL while also bringing on PEPE on the 84th minutes.

But he quickly adjusted against Manchester United by leaving OZIL throughout and started PEPE instead with an immediate substitution when he began fumbling.

All marked the game reading ability of ARTETA as if he was reading this thread

Yes but Jesse's is imminent, though, same can't be said about Onyekuru's since the new Monaco coach Robert Moreno, according to GetFrenchFootballNews, is demanding to assess all 1st team players before any transfer(in coming/out going) business can be sanctioned.

yes ozil was dope yesterday, I think his quality was never in doubt, ozil can lay a pass, a very good one, but that guy is slow as snail, I will be very surprised if ozil can do a very intensive exercise in training, I'm thinking they would have seperate exercise regime for him or something

He tried to mark matic at one point and that one just use one hand to held him back, he didn't even try to fight or anything, I was like 'oboy, ozil lazy Sha... He won't survive at Liverpool and man city

I don't know why Iwobi 's transfer still pains up till now. With Arteta, he will likely improve and be fitter (be able to play full match without panting like a billy goat in labour)

It seems there's an international FIFA window for Nigeria and the rest of the world between February 3rd & February 14th oooooo because of the below.

Else, How come there would be no matches of any kind for Arsenal between Sunday February 2nd and February 16th

In case you wanna know.

The next round of FA cup games is January 24-27 after the game against Leeds United at the Emirate stadium on Monday January 6th

While the Europa league match against Olympiacos is on February 20th

U people are misinterpreting the guy... He didn't say we should shut out players with links to Europe completely. He wants us put more attention into the development of our cadets teams back home..more attention to grassroot football.. The main reason we are chasing foreign born players around is because we don't have enough home grown players that are better..

Can u in all honesty say u are pleased with the performance of our cadet teams in 2019? the u-17, u-20 and u-23? .. Even the NPFL can't boost of a well structured youth system to unearth talents.
..
We need to make improvement in that aspect
.pay more attention to development of football at the grassroot level!! It would benefit us in the long run and won't affect the inclusion of foreign born players in the national team at all...

PS: I'm not in any way against the inclusion of foreign born players in the national team..I just don't like the way we droll over every Chinedu,Danladi and Adigun that emerges from another country as if the ones we have back home are useless!
One year of failure doesn't mean our grassroots football is bad, the NFF and other stakeholders are really putting in the work for underage football teams. The only thing that needs attention is our league

Coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Gernot Rohr has gotten a boost of endorsement from present players of the senior national team of Nigeria Gernot who have all given their support to the coach as his contract extension row continues with the Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF) .

Rohr has not been handed a contract extension by the NFF although the football body claim that talks will take place in January over an extension, same months the coach is free to enter into discussion with other countries.

Some of the Super Eagles players ‎who were home for the Christmas break told Owngoalnigeria.com that the coach should be left in the job, urging the NFF to pull all the stop to ensure that he is retained as coach of the team.

Speaking on the condition of anonymity they all accepted that even though results could have been better under the coach the team has also made significant progress the last few years under the Franco-German tactician.

His willingness to call up only players who are regulars at their clubs means every player now have to be very careful when switching clubs as playing time is now the main criteria to be in the team unlike in the past.

On the other hand Owngoalnigeria.com exclusively gathered that the NFF has placed Salisu Yusuf on standby to step in as interim coach if contract talks breaks down with Rohr. Yusuf who is only backed from a suspension handed over to him over the cash for spot bribery video is presently the only coach having a contract with the NFF.

Serbian side Partizan Belgrade have rejected a bid of 6 million Euros for their 22 year old Nigerian forward Sadiq Umar who is on loan from Italian Serie A side Roma, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.

Partizan have already made it known to Roma that they will be taken up the option of signing the striker permanently at the end of his loan deal for the agreed sum of €1.6m. A deal they could complete this January if they so wish.

Sadiq who has 16 goals this season with 11 coming in the league and five in the Europa League is the primary target of coach Rudi Garcia of Lyon in this January to strengthen his attack. Garcia gave him his breakthrough at Roma as an 18 year old in 2016.

Lyon’s opening offer of 6 million euros was rejected by Partizan who are keen on keeping him till the summer as he is their only recognised forward at the moment. They also want double the amount that Lyon are offering.

Their demands means Laliga side Real Sociedad are now the odds on favorite to land the lanky forward as they have discussed terms with his representatives over a deal in the summer and not in January. They are reportedly willing to meet Partizan’s valuation of the forward who finished as top scorer for the Nigerian team at Rio 2016.

The hope of Kelechi Iheanacho leaving Leicester City to a team where he will enjoy regular run of games has taken a big hit with the second placed Premier League team demanding for a fee of £35m for the Nigerian.

Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal that Iheanacho has offers from teams in and outside England following the commencement of the January transfer window but Leicester City are not willing to let him leave on a cheap.

The Foxes have rejected two bids from clubs who want the 22 year old on an initial loan deal with the option of signing him permanently but they are keen on letting him leave permanently and not on loan.

Any club wishing to have Iheanacho must meet the demand of Leicester City with a loan deal but it must carry a clause with obligation to buy next summer for a fee in the region of £35m. That has kept teams away from pushing to sign him in January.

Leicester City are demanding that high a fee as Manchester City, the immediate past club of the Nigeria international are due 15 percent from his sale. It was part of the agreement that saw him join them two seasons ago.

The percentage due to City is why Leicester want a fee that is that high as it will enable them to recoup a part of the £25m they paid for his services when he joined them. So far his time at the club has not been good as expected but he is finally finding his range.

He has scored five goals from just seven goals this season and he could be set for an extended run in the team following the unavailability of top scorer Jamie Vardy who has missed the last two games of the club.

19 year old Republic of Ireland forward Michael Obafemi would have represented Nigeria long before he decided to represent Ireland, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.

The forward was part of the Team Nigeria UK team that played in a friendly game against the Nigeria U17 team in 2015 as part of preparations for the World Youth Championship which Nigeria won.

Obafemi according to a member of the technical crew of the Nigeria U17 team back impressed despite the heavy defeat they suffered but they passed on the chance to invite him because they felt Victor Osimhen is better.

Osimhen went ahead to finish as top scorer in the tournament further justifying the confidence the coaches have in him but fast forward to 2019 and Obafemi has emerged as one of the force behind a Southampton team that is pushing to avoid the drop in the English Premier League.

” I remember the lad. Dark and shot back then with pace and power. They lost heavily but he impressed very well. Three of the coaches were sold out on him but it was always going to be tough because we had Osimhen who was in the form of his life and even scored five times in the friendly game against Team Nigeria UK”, he told Owngoalnigeria.com.

” The team Nigeria UK consists of players who were born abroad and in that game against us Obafemi was very good but not as good as Osimhen. He was also very tiny back then unlike now. We can only wish him well”.

Nigeria can no longer have the service of the forward as he has already represented Ireland in a competitive game at senior level after making the step up from the U19 to the first team in 2018.

Peter Etebo's Stoke City exit is set to be confirmed as he joins Getafe on loan with a purchase option.

The 24-year-old Nigeria midfielder was a prominent player under Nathan Jones but fell out of favour when Michael O'Neill took charge in November. He recovered from injury but there was a hint that he had not done enough in training to warrant selection.

He had not played for Stoke since limping out of a defeat at Sheffield Wednesday in October and is now understood to be waiting for a visa to complete his move to Spain.

It is not likely to be rushed through in time so he could face Real Madrid on Saturday but Getafe hope he will be involved in the cup against Badalona the following weekend.

Etebo was lined up by Stoke before the appointment of Gary Rowett and he joined from Feirense in Portugal for £6.3m in the summer of 2018. He had previously spent time on loan at Las Palmas.

He gradually worked his way into Rowett's first team plans but was sent off in a 2-1 win over Derby in November and only made one more Championship start before Rowett was replaced by Jones.

His first goal came in March in a 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest and he added a second in a 1-0 win at Blackburn Rovers.

A busy summer of international duty - helping Nigeria reach the Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals - meant he missed the bulk of pre-season and he did not make his first league start of this term until August 24 and a 3-0 defeat to Leeds.

O'Neill said last month: "Peter came back after, I think, four weeks out. When I came to the club, Peter was injured. He’d come back from international duty and been injured. So that was far from ideal.

"His training has been ok, it’s been no better than ok, so that’s important.

"There’s no guarantee that anyone comes back and we put them straight in the team."
