Reciprocity.

Foreign embassies in Nigeria employ Nigerians as local staff (non-Diplomats/Intelligence). In most embassies you have a mix as standard practice e.g. a Nigerian embassy will have Nigerians & some citizens of the host country as locally-recruited staff. In most cases, you must be legally qualified to work in the host country despite being an embassy.

Hmmmmmmm, most countries employ locals in their various embassy, why go through stress of recruiting and training an employee at higher cost when there is a readily available potential employee.
Citizens are given sensitive position, while locals are used to fill operations/adminstrative post

There is what they call diplomatic staffing and local staff. The Nigerian diplomatic staff come from Nigeria, this includes the Ambassador, first secretary, counselor and attached. These staffs enjoy diplomatic immunity and are been accommodated by the Nigerian Government. Because of fund, most countries only send two or three diplomaticStaff. While the local staff are the nationals of that country the Embassy is or foreigners living in that country.
The local staff include Receptionist, security guards, Gardners, driver, cleaners etc So you shouldn't be surprised. I hope I answered you Question. Thanks

I want to believe that even in some foreign Embassies in Nigeria there are some Nigerians who work in those Embassies too.

Not some, Nigerians work in all the foreign embassies in Nigeria
