Kbs468:Stoke City's Nigeria International Midfielder Joins Getafe Pending A Medical Allnigeriasoccer.com can confirm a report by Spanish sports daily Marca that Nigeria international Oghenekaro Etebo will be joining La Liga club Getafe in the January transfer window. Stoke City and Getafe have reached a club-to-club agreement over the loan of the central midfielder. Subject to a medical, Etebo will spend the remainder of the 2019-2020 campaign on loan at Getafe. The future of the former Warri Wolves star has been the subject of speculation in the British press due to a lack of first team opportunities at the Potters despite his return to full fitness after suffering an injury. He has not featured for his Championship club since October 22, 2019 when he lasted 21 minutes on the pitch vs Sheffield Wednesday. Etebo is not new to La Liga, having spent time on loan at UD Las Palmas during the second half of the 2017-2018 season, on loan from Feirense. Overall, he has played 51 matches for Stoke City since he transferred to the club in the summer of 2018, and has scored two goals. Ifeanyi Emmanuel

Subzero047: U seem to have forgotten that Etebo started his career as an attacker and that he was renowned for his goalscoring exploits since with the u-23 .. Even with the super eagles,he started out in a free role before Rohr started playing him deep! He was our best midfielder at the world cup and at the AFCON... 1 Like |

Danielnino00: Tbh, I don't get why Rohr prefers to play etebo in a deep role and allows ndidi to roam. I would have thought their roles should be reversed. Na etebo versatility make him crayfish bend. D guy started as a forward while ndidi started his craft as a defender. |

Danielnino00: Etebo is a good box to box midfielder, my major problem with him is that he tends to go mechanical most times, by holding on to the ball and looking for who to wrestle with, instead of giving a simple pass to a free man. Nothing infuriates me than a player that unnecessarily delays passes, the way Etebo does. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Lille striker Victor Osimhen has revealed his desire to play for European powerhouse Real Madrid in future. The Nigeria international is reportedly being chased by Liverpool, Chelsea and Liverpool, and Barcelona have also been credited with an interest in the 2015 U17 World Cup Golden Boot winner. Osimhen earned a move to Lille last summer after scoring plenty of goals during a loan spell at Sporting Charleroi. During his time in Belgium, the former Wolfsburg striker provided an insight into how he will decide the next step in his career. Last season, when Osimhen was asked by Belgian broadcaster RTBF to name his dream club, he answered : "My dream club is Real Madrid. God willing, I will play for them one day .... because in football everything is possible". In a interview with L'Equipe in November 2019, he reiterated his desire to move to Spain, saying ''I am a big fan of La Liga. It’s my dream to play there". Lille President Gérard López has stated that he is not willing to sanction the sale of Osimhen in the January transfer window, and it remains to be seen if a monster bid from an interested club could tempt him to part company with his prized jewel. The Super Eagles star has notched up 17 goals for club and country so far this season. |

Danielnino00: Even when Etebo has been played as AM, what has been his impact in terms of goals and assists? The mixture of Etebo and Ndidi is like playing with a hand brake, no flow. Two hard workers with limited creativity. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

AndSunGorilla:Continue pulling my leg and I will continue to reply you oooooo See the below table and tell me whether it is a relegation battle or a top 5 finish still because it's just 4 points gap between us and Manchester United. Meaning, 2 wins for ARSENAL in 10th and 2 draws for Manchester United in 5th would see a summersault of position. As against the 7, 8 & 13 points above Bournemouth, Watford and Norwich City in the relegation zone respectively
