Which insurance or private shipping company would want to take such risks passing through war zone? Besides, the news of crises in that region would raise oil prices astronomically. In case you don't know, Nigeria's daily oil capacity is less than 3m

An average Iranian is actually mad that the silly religious leaders have ruined the country. In fact, for every 10 Iranian youth you see in Tehran, Isfahan, Shiraz and etc., 9 would gladly give one of their limbs in order to escape to the west. Iran is a good example of the dangers of mixing religion with politics.

An average Iranian would hate anything American today because at the moment, their currency is nothing due to several sanctions. Their entire economy is down. Iran blocking that strait will just be a reason for the US to directly invade that country and depose its leader. Go read about Panama and Egypt.

relax there is not going to be any war. even if there is a war, most countries will remain neutral. also the war will be fought in the middle East and Iran backyard as usual. lastly Iran cannot afford a war as the current regime is already having problem with some of it citizens. some else will overthrow this regime if they try going into war.
