With interest rate on savings accounts at roughly 3.5%, why would one invest in TBs at the same interest rate? Or is there something I’m missing? dipoolowoo: 3 Likes |

richforever123: when i read stuffs like this i just burst into laughter, i think the best advice would have been, dont invest in what you dont know or before you invest, KNOW MUCH ABOUT WHERE YOU ARE PUTTING YOUR HARD EARNED MONIES. As i cant advice people to invest or not to invest, i will always tell them to know where they are putting there monies. Everyone paints our NSE as gloom and doom yet if you know when to enter and your exit time you still make good monies, like the little bulls alone today gave me 387k in a stock and in the next 90 days there might still be bulls cos of earning season with profits taking in btwn. Just know about where u put your money is the main advice, there are still some people who does not know a jack about tb and yet they also want to invest in tb cos people says in the safest investment 2 Likes |

ogawisdom: The Dangote you're mentioning failed in several businesses. For example, his tomato business was a flop. His noodles business was a spectacular failure. His juice business has capsized. Three things you need to do. 1. Stop using Dangote as an example. He can't survive competition. He only thrives in monopolies. 2. Stop talking down on people who didn't find a particular business profitable and therefore exited. They have knowledge of what doesn't work for that line of business, that's experience money cannot buy. 3. Stop insulting people online. Where your farm reaches is where another person's farm begins. 36 Likes 3 Shares |

MrMcJay: Dangote also failed in flour mill and that was why he sold initially to tiger brand of SA which they could not run profitably and then bought it back very cheap pumped 10biln the ran it into profitability for just a yr or there about then later slip into loss making company, he finally sold it this yr. So, there is no success witout a failure 1 Like |

aremso: Doctors spend years studying to become doctors. Lawyers spend years studying to become lawyers. Stockbrokers spend years to become stockbrokers. Even armed robbers graduate from the ranks of pilfering to pickpocketing to knife-jacking before armed robbery. People need years of learning, experience and knowledge of the stock market to understand how it works. Unfortunately, most of those who get burnt don't even understand the stock market. They now try to project their negative experiences into others. 8 Likes |

abbey621:Besides the only largely successful business of Dangote is Dangote cement where he operates alone, he is not an example of the ideal businessman to me. A enjoys govt backing. If we were to judge by his other business ventures like his noodles then I wonder if he would still be regarded a success story in the Nigerian real sector 2 Likes |

You are asking people to invest in the real sector because Dangote is a success story but Dangote after his refinery will be focusing his investments outside Nigeria in order to preserve his wealth.. lol 2 Likes 1 Share |

IyawoToBe: Hope u have not sold it, if you have not i greet you congratulation because the buyer from dangote paid 24naira per share which has been executed and the shares have been deleted on NSE. So, go EDC registrar to fill form and collect your 24 per share. OLAM bought the company from dangote, they bought the total 5billn shares. Last time while Checked, they were at onipan. 1 Like |

You will notice by now your accrued interest as at 31st December have been reinvested or paid to you bank account depending on your option regarding your interest. By Monday all your accrued interest from 1st to 5th will reflect. Though I work for investment one their model in FBN is same with ours. 2 Likes |

emmasoft: just checked my account n yes you are right, the interest was paid into my account as at 31 dec,but what baffles me is that ,I had gained up to #20,000 as at the last time I checked my mmf account but only received 12,241 naira, the principal amount is 7m, investments runs for only 12 days, from dec 19th until 31st dec, furthermore, my present accrued balance shows *nothing* leaving 3 days investments not accounted for. How can accrued 20k gains be reduced to 12,241naira, eventhough some taxes were withheld , it shouldn't be that crazily much, is there anything I'm missing here? This kinda seems confusing unlike my lovely TBs which is always direct n unconfusing |

In the UK TB rate is 0.75 In the US TB rate is 1.75 We are all shouting that there are no jobs, in a healthy economy, the Government does not provide all the jobs, it is the Entrepreneurs that do that. If we are all subscribing to Tbills, who will create the jobs for the masses In as much I am sad about the dwindling TB rates (including the closing of borders) it the right step in the development of the country and as a Patriotic citizen I commend the FG's efforts 7 Likes 1 Share |
