Versatile Nigerian defender Kelechi John has today completed a move to Casa Pia Atlético Clube, the Portuguese Liga Pro side have informed via social media. The Nigeria U23 international has been inactive since the end of the 2018-2019 season after parting company with Rio Ave, whom he represented for three years. He transferred to Rio Ave from Junior Elkanemi Academy, a Jos based grassroots club that produced the likes of Obi Mikel, Joseph Akpala and Chidozie Awaziem. "I'm here to help the team stay in ligapro. I want to prove my worth to help the team, " said Kelechi, moments after signing the contract with Casa Pia Atlético Clube. "I believe that from January we will climb the table and everything will be fine " After 14 matches in the Segunda Liga, Kelechi's new employers are 17th in the 18-team table with eight points. Their next game comes up against Sporting Covilhã on Sunday, January 5. 1 Like |

Turkey is experiencing a surge, they are gonna be a very unwanted guest to any team come the Euros in the summer. These guys are having some sort of a golden generation with these fantastic youngsters springing up from every corner. Watch out for Enes Unal, Soyuncu, Demiral et al |

Let me just say this and go back to my ghost mode I see folks here saying Osimen should go to Liverpool. I just laff at all those comments. Osimen should not even smell Liverpool if he really want to develop into that formidable striker we all wish for. My reasons? Simple - Osimen will definitely have limited playing time with Liverpool. Just take a look at Origi, sentiment apart, I think he's better than Osimen, he contributed immensely to Liverpool's success in the last champions league but he was only given the playing opportunity because of the injury woes that befell Liverpool then. Origi is a very fine player but he hardly start at Liverpool. Origi aside, take a look at Shakiri, he used to be my most feared player in the EPL but you and I know how he's now married to the bench. and others still dey o IMO, Osimen is better off with Barca, that is if he must move to any of the Barca, Liverpool and Madrid. In Barcelona, Suarez is the only major player to contend with as Griezmann is now preferred as a winger I will also advise he go to Madrid in place of Liverpool as Benzema would be the only major player to contend with. I think Osimen is better than all other strikers in Madrid. the best option would be for him to remain with Lille for a while but if he must move, I repeat, MAKE HE NO NEAR LIVERPOOL O ...I don talk my own And FYI, I'm a bonafide original Liverpool fan. osimehn should avoid barca and liverpool, if the madrid offer is serious i will advise he takes the risk. another team that will suit his robust style of play is atletico madrid. bayern won't be bad as well |

Allnigeriasoccer.com has been told that Galatasaray are on the verge of announcing the signing of former Everton winger Henry Onyekuru. The Nigeria international jetted out to Istanbul on Friday night to seal his transfer to the Turkish Super Lig champions. The appointment of a new coach at Monaco, Robert Moreno, sparked speculation that Onyekuru's proposed move to Galatasaray might be delayed but he has given the green light to the deal. Pending a medical, the Super Eagles star will join the The Yellow-Reds on loan for the remainder of the 2019-2020 season. Galatasaray had always been Onyekuru's first choice when it became clear Everton were willing to cash in on the 22-year-old last summer but the Turkish side were prized out of a move for the former Eupen starlet. He had a successful loan spell at the Istanbul giants last term, scoring 16 goals in 44 games and helped them win the league and Cup. Apart from the aforementioned teams, Onyekuru has also worn the colours of Aspire Academy and RSC Anderlecht. 2 Likes |

Awaziem is a better defender than Omeruo. I watched Leganes today and it was so obvious to me. Omeruo could have done better for the goals conceded. Maybe Awaziem is starting to surpass Omeruo. 8 Likes |
