Iran and Iraq are just hours from each other. He could have been there for so many reasons. His presence is understandable because they are side by side countries. But do you know how far U. S is from Iran and Iraq. In any case foreign govts including the U. S have supported rebels since time immemorial. Even the Iraqi govt which is supposed to be U. S decoy in Iraq is not happy with the development. When both your friend and your "friend's" enemy don't want you there then it's time you take your leave. Let them settle their fight.
