People are saying Iran is in the midst of enemies like Saudi, Qatar UAE and Co. But the first nation to send envoy to sympathize is Qatar to avoid altercation with Iran. Truly Iran can't match America in a war but they can cause havocs to their interest and allies. Their allies know this and they will want to prevent it. Russia have come out to condemn the attack saying it against the international law, same way China tolled. May God help us. |

I guess U.S is ready like they are ready Vietnam. They can tell better how many U.S soldiers vietlong that went with it. No super power when it's war. Both sides will definitely record casualties, cos Iran will do guerrilla warfare not one on one fight. They should also expect more suicide bombings against U.S targets. No victor no vanquish. |

lexy2014: Taliban is made up of a group of some of the mujahideen fighters who rose up as insurgents against the Afghan government backed by Russia in 1979. Osama Bin Laden's mujahideen group was one of the several groups backed by USA, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan to wage war against Soviet forces and the Afghan government in the Afghan civil war that started in 1979 and lasted until 1994. As at 1979, the mujahideens weren't referred to as Taliban until 1994. And yes, America trained and gave support to Osama Bin Laden during that period. To avoid repeating the mistake made by America in the Afghan war, Barack Obama during the "arming of moderate rebels" in Syria couple of years ago, decided to limit the scope of support they gave to the rebels fighting against the Syrian government. Get your facts right. I'm sure you have forgotten that the Soviet Union gave Logistics support to the Northern part of Vietnam while the Americans occupied Vietnam during the Vietnam War making it difficult for the Americans and they lost several soldiers in that war. The US saw the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan as a perfect way to repay them for the loss suffered in Vietnam. 1 Like |

chronique: U have in no way answered d questions I asked. All u doing is rabble rousing and mixing things up to justify d errors u made. First, Taliban didn't exist until 1994 but in ur previous comment, u said d Taliban was d paramilitary body that fought d Soviets. Now u are saying: "As at 1979, the mujahideens weren't referred to as Taliban until 1994". This is very wrong because u are assuming that d Mujahedeen transitioned to become d Taliban. That's not true. The Taliban emerged in 1994 as one of the prominent factions in the Afghan civil war. Now ur historical facts are distorted. Check this out. According to u: "the Afghan civil war that started in 1979 and lasted until 1994". D Afghan civil war didn't start in 1979. It was d invasion by USSR and d war that emerged as a result that started in 1979 and ended in 1989. With d USSR leaving in 1989, a civil war broke out between d various armed groups on d ground. D Taliban emerged after another civil war broke in 1992. Earlier u said that d US trained and created Osama bin Laden. And I asked u how did d US train Osama? What and what type of training did Osama receive from d US? This is what u had to say: "And yes, America trained and gave support to Osama Bin Laden during that period." How does that answer d question? U only repeated what u said earlier without any facts or specifics. Just vague conclusions that u can't defend. I also asked u this: "What has Vietnam got to do with d discussion? Was Americas involvement in d Afghan war in 1979 based on ideology or was it based on "payback"?" And u said this: "I'm sure you have forgotten that the Soviet Union gave Logistics support to the Northern part of Vietnam while the Americans occupied Vietnam during the Vietnam War making it difficult for the Americans and they lost several soldiers in that war. The US saw the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan as a perfect way to repay them for the loss suffered in Vietnam." Still u couldn't answer d question. D reason d US entered d Afghan war against d USSR was d same reason it was in Vietnam, Korea, Cuba, Congo, Cambodia, Angola and a host of others. It wasn't because payback. It was because of ideology. So I should b d one telling u to get your facts right |

MERCHANDISER:Quit smoking hemp, no country will give Iran full military support against US. Iran doesn't have the capability to spark up a global war, they are too small, too inconsequential to spark up global military coalition. The only continent on earth that can spark up global military war or coalition is Europe, EUROPE alone! And Europe is now advanced and informed than they were in the 1930s and 1940s that led to the second world war. European countries are no longer in disagreement or power tuzzle like they were in the 40s...they now have a common understanding and they are now more concerned about stabilizing their dying economy than going to war. Japan is US ally. South Korea is US ally! Hong Kong is US ally! Taiwan is US ally! China and US are strong trade partners; US consume a majority of what China produces, and Americans have big financial stake in Chinese corporations, which China wouldn't want to loose, reason China is trying all things possible to end the trade war with US. Russia is no longer in loggerhead with US. Russia has almost same military power with US, but US will win Russia in any war due to economy power of US which can sustain war for almost 50 years nonstop, Russian economy cannot sustain war for that long. In the Middle-East where Iran is located, Iran is highly hated because of their secret sponsorship of Islamic terrorists to destabilize other Middle-East nations and take over Middle-East regional power. Saudi Arabia and Iran almost went to war last year because of Yemen. Kuwait don't like Iran. UAE hate Iran. Iraq don't like Iran. The only allies Iran will get from Middle-East are: Yemen (already torn by war) Syria (already torn by war) Qatar (have no strength and also hated by UAE, Saudi, Kuwait, etc) Lebanon (struggling economically right now that their Prime Minister has resigned due to dying economy) The allies US will get in Middle-East to flog Iran in their own country: Israel Saudi Arabia UAE Turkey Kuwait Iraq will love to stay away because their country is already dead lol The only way Iran can indirectly revenge US as they always do is to sponsor more Islamic terrorists like Hezbolla, ISIS, Taliban, Al-Shabaab, Boko Haram, ISWAP, etc to start targeting American embassies, American investments in Middle-East, Africa, and maybe Europe and attack them through suicide bombers. That is the only and highest thing Iran can do, nothing else....Iran is a small country to challenge Houston Texas to talk of USA as a whole. USA remains the number one nation on earth.....they have the military power, technology, and the booming economy to sustain war for decades, which no other nation has. Russia has military power and technology, but they don't have the economy to sustain war for too long. China have the military might and some technology but they don't have the economy and national hunger sustainability to wage and sustain war for a long time, if they do, majority of their citizens will die of hunger unlike US that will be fighting war and be hosting parties all over US because they have too much money Pity Iran! I would have sided with Iran, but Iran love terrorism a lot....Iran should quit supporting and sponsoring Muslim terrorists, they are making the whole world an unsafe place to live, and if not for USA, Iran and Muslim terrorists would have destroyed this world and its little peace we all are enjoying. Leave religion aside, call a spade a spade, Iran is a terrorist sponsoring nation and its bad! They need to be put in check before they destroy global peace with Muslim terrorists!!! 2 Likes 2 Shares |
