You don't know the meaning of world War.
Two countries can be at war but won't fight each other directly but venge the anger on other countries e.g, US and Iran may be at war but Isreal will be targeted. 2, US and North Korea may be at war but South Korea will be targeted. More so, every country have allies so, the war cannot be fought alone.
Russia, China, North Korea etc will definitely take sides evneif the war is just between US and Iran.... That's how world War starts.
