As backward as they are your tribesmen keep trolling in droves into their land ...lol. Can you not see that you entire tribe is not doomed if not for the Yoruba's who are superior to you in every ramification ?! Sofistcatdmoron: 4 Likes |

Stalwert:deranged he maybe but he spoke the inconvenient truth, the first foundation of development in a country is human capital development if you neglect to train and develop your next generation you are doomed, for years the north has relied on the archaic system of almajiri and has simply turned a whole generation to bumbling ilitrates and drug addicts,a time will come when those kids on the streets with empty bowls in their hands and no joy in their minds will turn against the same people that set up such a wicked and callous system,a time will come not now but it will come. 3 Likes |

There is still North. The North may not be as monolithic as it used to be, but there is North. Abaribe is only engaging in sophistry. If there's no North, why did his party zone the Presidency of Nigeria to the North in the last election? 2 Likes |

He spoke the truth. The average man in the so called north is as poor and wretched as the poor church rat in the south, or even worse. APC's curse knows no tribe. Only cabals made up of the people from the region referred as north are the problem of Nigeria |

Ndibunna:nigeria is so disunited even than the east west and south you typed, imagine a man from the same state, arguing/fighting about which local govertment/town/village is better than the others. only when we can accept our diversity redefine our value, set a better standard of our unity then we can do better. 1 Like |

yanabasee: And what of the South shall we to on the cultist, ritualists, militants , armed robbers , drug dealers , fraudsters sheep , surplus of paedophiles just name it. The man is not far from it, there was not northerner Nigeria before Saudana manager to unite the purpose and since his departure and the collapse of NPN such a political construct has ceased to exist. Ethnically northern Nigeria is more diverse than the South, politically they are more diverse from state to state and even within local governments. There is no region where quasi single party state exists culturally diverse. The senator is 100% correct , those in power covert more power and those out of power despice those who have it. There is no region in Nigeria where there is no big man who has been favoured to sustain the system of benevolent patriarchy that exist in Nigeria.. 3 Likes 1 Share |

The Senator is entitled to his opinion. He is making sense though as the North is no longer monolithic as in the past. He is trying to encourage other region to play politics without the usual phobia of "One North". Different interpretation to different people anyway. |

My response to your picture. Badagry (Agbadaigi) and all the way to Cotonou in Republic of Benin was the land of the Egun. Due to inter tribal wars, the Fon, Egun, Ewe and some other neighboring tribes were conquered by Oyo and were made to pay tax and homage to Alaafin. Under the Imperial power of Oyo the Eguns were guaranteed security under Yoruba sovereignty and this is how they became Yoruba citizens even though their Nationality is not Yoruba. |

Nigeria is big enough to accommodate everyone. That's God's plan. All the people that are formenting trouble or trying to are the problem. Ipob, boko haram, bandits, militants, ohaenaze, arewa group, afenifere, oduwa congress etc -these are the trouble makers - get rid of them and problem solved. |
