Even without the gimmicks. Harden is legit abeg. Curry, he is really coming for your 3-pt shooting. 1 Like |

Ball has been looking really good over the past couple of games. Seems to be settling into his groove. Hope he can sustain it. |

The lakers bench led by Rondo AKA "celtics double agent" is horrible. Two games in a row now the starters build up a sizeable lead but have to bring back bron and AD because they blew the lead. This is unacceptable. Not sustainable against good teams most regular season games and certainly not in the playoffs. |

Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 8:15pm On Jan 04, 2020 |
steady986: Even so, no one wants their star players carrying that much load in the regular season and in the early playoff rounds. In the latter play 48 minutes if you like if you dont have a good bench you'll lose. |

AD continues to carry the Lakers, he is younger and that is what is expected. However, if LeBum thinks this assist padding for MVP, putting up poverty numbers and deferring of offense will get him a championship ring with the Lakers then someone needs to wake him up! 1 Like 1 Share |

When I said I don't trust these Clippers against any team not named the Lakers it wasn't just for show. See how they are stinking up the joint |

Credit to the the Bulls, these cats play one of the best one on one defense in the league and rank number 1 in forcing TO but of course the Celtics punished them with Kanter once again dominating both ends of the rim. My boy JB is really proving he is worth every cent we have him. Coach of the year? Brad Stevens, no questions asked! |

The Patriots have no answer for D. Henry! He is just bullying his way through that Patriots defensive line. 1 Like |

Sad to see kevin love being treated this way. All i wanted was for him to rack up all star appearances and give himself a shot at the HOF. SMH. |

Khanben: Um, no, they do. Texans have had some heartbreaker seasons, including Deshaun injuries. This is a feel good win. I hate for the Bills to lose like this (they will not be able to sleep tonight), but Texans have paid their dues. JJWatt especially |

Derrick Henry is a beast. One man MOPOL. Bill Belichick made some uncharacteristic 4th down errors that probably cost the Pats the game. I think the Brady-Belichick evil empire has finally run its course. Would love to see Brady join the Chargers for one more run 1 Like |

We need to do all we can to get Jae Crowder, he is key, most especially against teams like the Clippers. It's no coincidence that Kawhi has shone against us two games running. That's because he doesn't have a proper defender of a similar size and strength to guard him. LeBron is supposed to be that guy but he won't do it because he's old, so I don't blame him. Get Crowder and we win that Clippers series 4-0. 1 Like |

Eruditor: Harden is really suffering especially this season from history bias. This season especially in the last 10-15 games he has reduced his usage rate and has allowed Russ to push the pace a bit more. If the rockets can play the type of great defense they've put up sometimes this season, they will definitely be dangerous come playoffs. PS: All it took was harden playing with his friend for him to slightly adjust his game |
Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 6:15pm On Jan 05, 2020 |
A40: Vrabel used the belichick handbook against him like every person who learnt from the feet of a master should do. Apart from running Henry, his time wasting gimmicks were spot on and was out of the belichick playbook (belichick even said that the rule should be changed, but as long as it remains he will continue to exploit it). yesterday vrabel else used the same rule to great success and can't wait to see them lose against the ravens. 1 Like |

Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 6:22pm On Jan 05, 2020 |
birdman: The Texans have failed to put enough pieces around Watson especially in that O-line. Still don't understand why with all the skill players they have the coach consistently refuses to spread out the game and let Watson make plays .for the Texans IMHO their passing game should be driving their running game. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 6:23pm On Jan 05, 2020 |
A40: . It is what my people will call EOD (end of discussion). PS: Not that it will ever happen but if the Lakers are building a fantasy team, they should go all out. |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 6:45pm On Jan 05, 2020 |
Khanben:You make a good point. I have also observed how Belichick tends to struggle against his old assistants I mean everyone but the Texans coach. Deeper than that though these Patriots were a deeply flawed team. People went on about how this was a historically great defense this year but I always felt it was criminally overrated. They were torched each time they faced any competent offense and feasted on weak schedules early in the season to rack up those numbers Their offensive corps were also arguably the worst in the postseason besides maybe the Eagles. They had no back that could run the ball, their receivers were awful bar Edelman, no tight end and no player that could remotely give any DC sleepless nights. The Patriots would be naïve to think this loss is on Brady's age alone. That whole offense needs revamping |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 6:50pm On Jan 05, 2020 |
Khanben:As much as their O-LINE is terrible something also has to be said about Deshaun Watson who is also guilty of holding the ball too damn long. I get his game is built on improv but sometimes the short pass here and there instead of always hunting the big play would help him avoid these needless sacks. He was dropped 7 times yesterday It's not a sustainable model |
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 7:02pm On Jan 05, 2020 |
A40: I agree with you that it is unlikely that he returns to the Patriots but I don’t think the Chargers will be the destination. The Patriots lacked that outside receiver threat and that exposed Brady because he held on to the ball longer which led to more tap dances and sacks. He would be evaluating teams with outside receiver threats with an average O-Line to protect him. Don’t forget, the Patriots had the best defense in the league, so that was not Brady’s problem. If you ask me I would say the Vikings, especially if they don’t get to the SuperBowl this year, Bucs and maybe the Bears. |
