Please sir, how good is Uniport medical school as compared to other medical schools in Nigeria?

Also, I heard there is high cost of living in Port Harcourt and this has been discouraging me from picking Uniport in Jamb.

NUC, MDCN has an accreditation team that does quality control for medical colleges in Nigeria. Apparently as long as there is a medical school existing somewhere, it is of good standard.

It depends on your expectations and your background, in the end life is what you make out of it.

Knew of a basic student who stayed in a 1 room shared toilet and bathroom in Aluu for 6000 a month and he paired with another guy. In the end he had basic admission to pharmacy and jamb admission to medicine. Moral of the above is cost of living can and should always be managed accordingly.

Transcript processing is one area that is avoided like plague, the approach to me is like the anthem called Te Deum Ladamus so have absolutely nothing to say in that regard.

Admission status can be checked via the JAMB website.
