I did the inspection and scan it and we discovered, it will cost about 200K to fix it, the cost of purchase is 700K

My questions are, is it sustainable interm of maintenance of Camry 2008?

Secondly buying car for 700K and spending about 200K is it advisable because I may change the engine later?
Thirdly any further advise you think I needed before committing my hard earned money.

Camry is a nice car though cause I'm currently using the 2010 model, it hasn't given me any problems since I bought it, well it's your choice

If yes... why spent a whopping 200k on an engine when u can add a few extra hundred thousand to replace the whole engine ...ur total cost plus a tokunbo engine shouldn’t be for than 1.1M ...that’s a good buy if u ask me...considering a food Nigerian used may be around 1.5-1.6M

Just like Gazzuzz insinuated, this deal smells of SARS and/or a deadly fault with the car... E fit be say dem kill person inside the motor and are thus looking to dispose the evidence of crime at Minimal loss.... So kindly check for blood stains and possible bullet or knife holes.

And no.... 200k might not even be enough to return the car ac and suspension to factory standard...and if the engine is weak like you insinuated, it will most likely not comfortably power the ac compressor.. . Add about 300k which is the cost of replacing the engine and you have spent about 1.2 million on that car....

With 1.2 million and a bit of patience and luck, you can get a faultless Nigerian used Corrola sport or even a camry big daddy...

I really don't understand why people enjoy bring stress into their lives over initially cheap stuff which will end up costing them much in the long run..

Do you honestly think that if the issues are as minor as you have stated and the car is legit, the owner won't fix the car and sell it for at least 1.5 million?

Just jejely respect yourself and come and buy my faultless first body Honda Accord with everything including AC and shocks working perfectly for just 400k...absolutely nothing to fix...
And yes, I can even follow you to DSS Headquarters to effect the change of ownership

the Camry price is too good to be true that’s what everyone is saying. My candid advice if you’re based in Lagos is for you to contact gazzuzz, he does vehicle inspections for a small fee and you can ask any questions you feel like from him. It’s better to be safe than sorry after making huge expenses buying the car and becoming regular customer at mechanic and Ladipo

if u are sure 200k will do it,go ahead and buy after proper inspection and verification of papers
