According to Britannica, sex has always been one of the few pleasures of the poor and oppressed. Nigeria is the poverty capital of the world. Do the math!

It's about time someone wrote about this, how prostitution feuls the cab hailing industry and how it's taken over social media apps like badoo, inmessage and tinder like wildfire.

However, there's no supply without demand...blame yahoo boys and randy married men for feuling the industry.

I laughed out loud when the idiotic writer said 'government is broke'.

FG is broke yet NNPC chairman's kids wedding was graced with over 50 private jets and polticians throwing bundles of dollars on the couple.

FG is broke but Yusuf buhari is building and buying hotels and hyper powerbikes everyday?

When anybody opens his mouth to proclaim that FG is broke, I have this compelling urge to pick up a plier and pull out his teeth one after the other.

EasyPeazy:
You people want to put sand in there garri now abi? How is what they do with there bodies your business?

Before you ask them for any PIT (Personal Income Tax), what has your country done for them?

If you took care of them or gave them jobs, why would any normal human being want to sell her body for money?
Even in Germany where the economy is booming, you have prostitutes there selling their bodies. In Holland where they have a near excellent economy, you have prostitutes selling their bodies.

Infact prostitution is regarded as one of the oldest trades....from Bible days pre civilisation era.

Prostitution has nothing to do with poverty or jobs. Nigerian women who tell you that they're driven into it because of poverty are only hypocrites.

A Ghanaian woman last week who had slept with as much as 300 men according to her, said she delved into prostitution not because of poverty, but because SHE IS LAZY to work.

Therein, lies the answer.

It's almost impossible to successfully enforce a ban on the world's oldest profession.

As immoral as it sounds, the only plausible solution is to criminalize random hook-ups and legitimize escort services.

That way, the details of the patrons can be documented and the safety of the escort is assured.

Instead of encouraging or suggesting ways for government to generate revenue, can you please tell them to first learn how not to be wasteful?

Let unborn children, churches, mosques the dead pay taxes to the Nigeria Government, nothing will change. The monies realized will end up in the hands of the few bastards who are the "rulers".

Oga OP point of corrections, Tinder is not an app where you connect with family and friends, it's a hook up app.

It's so annoying how some Nigerian girls will be on Tinder and write on their Profile that they're not here for HOOKUP, aunty wey mumu, Tinder is not where you find husband.

It's an app where men come to negotiate with prostitute. You're mad if you want to get husband from Tinder

Tinder isn’t just a hookup app!

It’s a dating app where you can match, connect and meet new people!

But for naija here, nah olosho/street babes dey use am pass ...

InMessage own shock me. All the girls there na strictly street and dem go still get serious bf!

cool

INMESSAGE Nko and Badoo, it is useless taxing prostitutes since the law prohibits prostituition

In a country that lacks entertainment like amusement parks, Malls , Resorts, Arcrade/Game centers , Casino, FootBall league and Sporting activities etc... when people want to catch fun they do so by drinking or having sex, and for some people prostituites are their only option at seeing a Vagina
