Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Bright Enobakhare was arrested by British Police during the festive period for fighting over a lady. The Nigeria U23 international was lodging at a hotel and returned to the premises in the morning with a group of friends, and a fight broke out over a disagreement concerning a lady. Enobakhare was fingered as one of the ringleaders in the fracas and was sighted repeatedly punching one of his friends. The hotel made an incident report and the Police were called in to quell the disturbance. Allnigeriasoccer.com has chosen not to disclose the name and location of the hotel in the United Kingdom, but it is confirmed that the hotel chain was used by the Super Eagles during one of their pre-World Cup friendlies in 2018. Enobakhare has returned to Wolverhampton Wanderers and it has come to light that he was forced to cut short his loan spell at Championship outfit Wigan Athletic due to disciplinary issues. The 21-year-old opted to skip several training sessions while at Wigan because he felt he was not getting playing opportunities. |

Arsenal just like doing business that make them get scammed at last. They are going all the way for Ziyech now. Why did they sold Iwobi then? So it is Ziyech they wan sign now...all the best for them. They should just find a way to bring Iwobi back sha .

Recently, Media Officer of the Super Eagles Toyin Ibitoye disclosed in a radio programme that head coach Gernot Rohr will not quit his job and is expected back in Nigeria within the month of January ahead of the draws for the second round of qualifiers to the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The news was a good one in the sense that it ensures stability in the Nigerian national team albeit certain persons in the Nigeria Football Federation apparently do not want Rohr to continue his job. The former Burkina Faso and Gabon coach was free to negotiate a new contract with another from January 1 with his contract with the NFF set to end in June and he has stated in the media that he could leave with DR Congo said to be interested in his services.. "Everybody in the NFF appreciates the job being done by Gernot Rohr. The coaches and the players, we are in touch all the time," Ibitoye stated on Brila FM. "Rohr loves his job that he is doing in the Eagles and the results are showing so why should he leave at this point. There's no true in that report at all. "Rohr is coming back. The World Cup qualifiers will start in March so we have to be united, focused; ensure that we have no distractions because we have to approach the World Cup qualifiers with all the seriousness that it deserves. "We expect Rohr to come to back to Nigeria say in two weeks' time all things being equal. He will be meeting with the Nigeria Football Federation and of course you know that in the third week of January the draws for the second round of qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup. "There are plans for him to be at the draws in Egypt. That's the next agenda and like I said, March is not too far away." Ibitoye also stressed that relationship between the coach and his employers have improved after media spats between both parties. "It is in our interest that we should avoid those cracks (Rohr and the NFF media war) because if we don't, there wont much headway. "We should ensure that there's no third party interference and I like the harmonious and matured way things are going on right now. If the NFF provide him with an accommodation that will be nice and it will cut cost in the interest of the NFF. Ibitoye also debunked claims that Rohr has no interest in watching the Nigeria Professional Football League and do not wish to make his team one that parade many home based players. "Rohr has watched a lot of matches in the NPFL. I will personally pick him up from his hotel to the stadiums. We have watched matches in Lagos, Enugu, Jos and many other places," the image maker of the Eagles concluded. It will be in the best interest of the Nigerian national team and for the chieftains of the NFF not to sack the present coach in the midst of qualifiers for major tournaments as that could affect team chemistry and tactical adaptability should a new coach be employed. Continuity is key in any sphere of life although admittedly changes are necessary when things go south. Even if there will be a change of guard, the best bet is to wait until the tickets for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2022 FIFA World Cup are in the bag. |

(Photo) Stoke City Beat Tottenham To Signature Of Nigerian Defender Dubbed The 'Next Van Dijk' It can exclusively be reported that Championship outfit Stoke City have pulled off a huge transfer coup after agreeing terms with Nigeria U17 invitee, Iffy Udanoh. Several Premier League clubs not limited to Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal had explored the possibility of signing the 6-feet-4-inches tall central defender, who has been likened to Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk. Udanoh was one of the teenagers earmarked to sign a scholarship deal with Aston Villa but the stumbling block is that other clubs, including Lyon in France, were battling for his services. After leaving Aston Villa, he went to Tottenham Hotspur to undergo trials and did really well doing his time with the North London club. Stoke City snatched Udanoh from under the noses of Spurs, offering him a contract after just one trial game. Udanoh and his minders believe the Potters are the best club for him in terms of pathway to first-team football that he might not get elsewhere. His scholarship deal with Stoke City will come into effect on July 1, 2020. 2 Likes 1 Share

Super Eagles Winger Resumes Training With Bordeaux After Passport Problems Nigeria international Samuel Kalu has finally resumed training at Bordeaux after overcoming passport problems. According to regional newspaper Sud Ouest , manager Paulo Sousa ran the rule over the winger and South Korea international Hwang Ui-jo this afternoon in Haillan. Depending on Kalu's fitness, he could be called up for Bordeaux's first Ligue 1 game of 2020 against Olympique Lyonnais on Saturday, January 11. Bordeaux have been preparing for the second half of the season since December 28 without their number 10, who was held up in Nigeria as a result of passport issues and he was not available for selection when they faced Le Mans in the Coupe de France on Friday. Manager Sousa has vowed to internally discipline the Super Eagles star for his unauthorized absence, saying the Nigerian was faking he had problems with his passport. Kalu has been linked with a departure from Bordeaux in the January transfer window, with teams in Spain and Germany credited with an interest in the former Gent and AS Trencin man. 3 Likes 1 Share

Kbs468:Ziyech has got some attitude problem if nothing goes his way and he can be selfish at times.. I hope he proves me wrong though. About Ndidi , I don't want him at arsenal at least for now. In months time, arsenal will be rebuilding. Ndidi deserves to win some trophy, all those tackles and ball recoveries need to fetch him some accolades. Arsenal can't offer him that FOR NOW. Lemar? He is good. I hope we get him. |

VICTOR OS IMHEN ON EMMANUEL AMUNIKE "I would rewind to when I joined the U17s and when I first went to the camp. In my own mentality, I felt the coach didn’t like me. Every time, he would speak to me and yell at me on the pitch. For me, I thought maybe he was making me suffer,” “There was a time I wanted to leave the camp, I spoke to the coordinator and he told me to be calm that the coach knew what he was doing. "For me, I think when you have chosen this path, you have to be disciplined. Discipline is the first thing, whether you have a coach or you don’t have a coach guiding you, I think discipline is the first thing. And I am really happy with what I went through with coach Emmanuel Amuneke. “Everything I am today, everything I would be in the future, I attribute almost half of my success to him. Whatever I have achieved, he really set my path, he made me understand life isn’t all about talent, you have to work hard, you have to be disciplined and listen to the coach’s instructions either on or off the pitch. I think other players that played under him can also testify, not just me. “So, I think whatever path you choose, be it football or music or any other thing, you have to be disciplined and know what you are doing and what you want.” 3 Likes |
