Hello House, Please for any of us experienced applicants, I was refused a visit visa around late November because I didn’t show proof for source of funds. I apparently submitted only his bank statement and sponsorship letter(My bad). Though I plan on applying again May/June. My dad is acting as my sponsor and he owns a business. What type of documents do think will be enough to convince the consular officer. This is the first reason I was denied. Also I was also denied because my birth certificate was issued way after my birth(2019). I mean I was issued a new one because my old one got missing. I only submitted the new birth certificate as evident of relationship with my parents but I got refused too cause of this reason. Next time I’m applying, should I submit an affidavit and police report to proof it really went missing or I should just do a declaration of age? PLEASE HELP!!!!! |

fakmurphy: It does and it will be difficult for your company to convince the ECO that sending 2 staff to the UK for property show is feasible venture . How will two days property show benefit your company compare that to the cost of those two staff traveling for the show |

Hello guys, been worried about my study visa application I submitted last month. I was refused UK study Visa in 2007, 2008 and 2010, but from 2011 I was issued a visiting visa, same with 2012 and 2014 with 2 years and 5 years visiting Visa respectively. Then last 2 years, i tried Canada Study Visa I was refused, then tried same Canada Study Visa early last year I was refused Canada study visa for the second time. I then applied for UK study visa last month and I encountered so many questions concerning my previous refusals both from UK and other countries, I couldn't provide refusal letters from UK because I couldn't find them as it's been more than 10 years, though I quoted the refusal stamps on my passport and hope it will help. I also quoted the Canada refusal informations and the sub sections but I didn't upload the letters. So it's been bothering me. I am expecting my passport this week as it will complete 15 working days this week. Should I be worried? |

opomulero: No, I didn't know via tracking; I lost interest in the tracking after the first few days. I got emails (2 emails within 5 minutes interval) from TLScontact notifying me that my document was ready for collection. |

Since you referenced the refusal stamps on ur passport and included your old passport (if there’s any) U shld be fine as long as other documents are intact. All the best and keep up the faith Alinkoo: |

First of all you need to show your tie to Nigeria, job/business, family (wife/kids), landed properties and so on. Your dad’s documents are supplementary, u have to show urs and how u stand on ur own. Nikimanni7: |

This also applies to the question I've been wanting to ask. If a husband is the SOLE sponsor of a wife's trip, should the wife submit her bank statement after submitting employment letter, Payslips and pension statements? giselle237: |

She must.. even though she is sponsored, the ECO likes to have an idea of her own circumstances in Nigeria. Success2011: |

Hi Everyone. Hope y'all doing great? I have a couple of questions 1. I got a 6-month visit visa in November (Expires May2020). I am using 2 months on my first visit which ends in January and will be back home shortly. I would like to come back in April-June (Another 2 months) for basically the same purpose I got the 6months visit visa for (to visit family), would also like to attend events relating to my business industry/personal growth as well. Do I stand a good chance of getting a 2-year visa if I apply for it by February or do I still have to renew for 6 months?? (Remember I only used 2 months from my 6 months and never overstayed). Secondly, does anyone know about the category called ''Family of a settled person visa''? My parents are UK citizens but I am not and I am over 18, is there any type of visa that allows me to join them that is not a visit visa? I have been seeing stuff about it online but the UK GOV website is a bit ambiguous about people over 18 so I wanted to ask if anyone knows about or has experienced it and how they went about it. Lastly and unrelated, does anyone have experience with Australia visit visa? I got refused once due to no clear source of funds, lack of travel history and ties to Nig but the situation has since changed with travel history to UAE and UK, payslips with fair salary and evidence of funds for over 6 months. Do I stand a good chance now? Are there any dos or donts that are different from the UK visit visa process or is it very similar? Thanks guys. |

giselle237: I saw the link but it is a bit ambiguous. Not sure if it's saying I have to be dependent on my parents to qualify. |

Now am officially tired of this UK visa application. I submitted & did biometrics since 5th Dec, I didn’t get a response until I requested at almost N2,800 on the 2nd of Jan, I got a response after about 4 hrs that a decision has been made & that TLS would contact me & since then I haven’t heard from TLS. I work in Ikeja so I visited TLS today & they said UKVI is yet to send the decision to them. @Justwise @Giselle & other gurus, u guys should advise me on the next line of action o, 5th Dec to 7th Jan & still no feedback. |

Does she have an account? If yes, let her submit and also explain any inflows, is there any evidence that husband sents money to her account? opomulero: |
