The US administration has denied a visa to allow Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif to attend a UN Security Council meeting in New York on Thursday, a US official said.

'The United States will get the decisive, definite answer for its arrogance at the time and place when it will feel the most pain,' Mr Zarif said in a speech on regional developments that was broadcast on state television.

Mr Zarif also said today that he had been barred from the meeting.

As the host of the UN headquarters, the US should allow foreign delegates to attend such events.

'They fear that someone comes to the US and reveals realities,' Zarif said.

It is about time the world community moved the UNITED NATION from New York, USA to a neutral country like Switzerland or Austria.

The domineering nature of the United States makes them an unfair umpire to host the world body.

They can easily use a representative, one who has an American and an Iranian visa and is an Iranian nationalist.
There are going to be countless of them.

Will the representative be an official of the Iranian government or a random Iranian picked from the streets?

This move has destroyed the very basis of why the UN was created. The UN was supposed to discuss issues of conflict between members to avoid going to war. It was created after WW2. So how can Iran present it's grievances to the world, and have an opportunity to discuss with the US if it cannot even enter the UN because, it is housed by US?
The UN general assembly needs to be moved to a less war hungry country like Switzerland or it be scrapped altogether.
