No electricity to power a space heater, people are left to do shit. Pls guys, buy heating bottles or even fill ragolis bottles with warm water, get a thick blanket and place your bottle and you in bed, cover with the blankets and stay warm. If bottle is too hot, wrap with a soft woollen or cotton napkin to protect the skin.

Please don't use charcoal or anything that releases smoke in your house, I and my family nearly die of smoke emission from caolport this Sunday night. We gassed out, if not for God intervention, my whole family would have been dead. Cold can only give you sickness if poorly managed, e no go kill you.

This is where National Orientation Agency should always educate illiterate Nigerians on issues as they arise.

Carbon Monoxide is generated from a process called incomplete combustion which produces CO instead of CO2. When you burn hydrocarbons they generate water (H2O + CO2) and carbon dioxide (which is not as fatal as CO - Carbon Monoxide).

Kerosene and gas cookers burn more efficiently than charcoal, generators (especially as they grow older) and wood.

But it's always recommended to have a well ventilated kitchen and car garage.
