diplomat058: That you are in Ebonyi, does that equate to knowing what's happening there? If you're not sure of anything don't come online to display your ignorance. So you know better than labour president that included Ebonyi State on the list? http://saharareporters.com/2019/12/21/ebonyi-governor-says-hell-pay-n30000-minimum-wage-january |

loswhite: What do I know? I'm just an engineering student who should retire to innovating and designing as per my field. But versatility is what I so much love, being able to be relevant in many fields. That comment of minimum wage was my little opinion though, you need not calling me a drunkard, it is disrespectful I'm sorry to say. Back to the matter, as a lover of economic welfare of any system, I know so well that many indexes play roles in determining what causes inflation in any nation. Few of them are import/export ratio, exchange rate, consumer price index (CPI), demand-pull effect, cost-push effect and built-in effect. Built-n inflation is a cause that links to adaptive expectations. As the price of goods and services rises, labors demand more costs/wages to maintain their cost of living. Their increased wages result in higher cost of goods and services, and this wage-price spiral continues as one factor induces the other and vice-versa. And here is where I see as the strongest index. What I will least expect from you is further insult, you can at least learn. |

Simplyleo: It is your genetic greed and wickedness against your people that will not allow your Governors to pay the paltry minimum wage. If you have Biafra , you will not even pay salary at all. Even the richest states in the south with Governors collecting billions of Naira every month will still live their population impoverished and their states undeveloped. AKWA Ibom, Rivers, Delta and Bayelsa states could easily compete with Dubai if they were not lead by Animals. |
Re: 10 States Ready To Pay N30,000 Minimum Wage – NLC by Nobody: 7:42pm On Jan 07, 2020 |
Gerrard59: What you should ask instead is how do we control price. By my price control I meant inflation checks. Controlling prices of goods and services in any country is a broad task, it doesn't not mean government should regulate the price, no. Price control and regulation are two different things. To effectively put check to rise in prices of goods and services (inflation), one must be able to identify those factors/indexes that lead to inflation and play against them. These indexes include consumer price index (CPI), wholesale price index (WPI), import/export ratio, exchange rate, cash flow pattern, e.t. c. All these factors fall under three types of inflation, and they are; demand-pull effect, cost-push effect and built-in effect... I'm not sure you are ready for this as I can go on with my analysis, but let me save my treasured time |
