Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, promised a partnership with the Nigerian Medical Association to help in evaluating the mental stability of recruits into Nigeria’s agencies. Aregbesola made this known while receiving the executives of the Nigerian Medical Association, led by the National President, Dr. Francis Adedayo Faduyile.

“We are partnering with the association in enforcing our policies and regulations on expatriate quotas in the health sector and in protecting the dignity and integrity of Nigerians.” Aregbosola said in a post on his official twitter handle.

“More importantly, we are partnering with the Nigerian Medical Association to help in evaluating the mental stability of recruits into our agencies. “Going forward, nobody will be engaged into our arms-bearing Services without getting a clean bill of health from recognized medical institutions,’ he added.

Because, i was wondering that they callect enough salary yet.

They will collect #100 bribe on the road.
Their clothes will be torn out.
They don't even look presentable.

Salary has never been the problem of police , it's greed and it's a curse


that curse is also facilitated by the fact that they seem to get away with anything they do


no retribution, no arrest, no prison terms


Nobody's salary is enough but no police is not on minimum wage asamatter of fact, no armed force collects minimum wage


until they start going to prison, getting killed , getting demoted, getting publicly shamed Nigerian police will grow bolder and bolder than what we currently have now


first it was ten naira, then it's 50 naira, now it's hundred, who knows how much it'll be in next few years ??


if only there was a bureau to report to , i am sure most people wouldn't be willing enablers

if there was justice , law abiding nigerians wouldn't be willing to pay bribes to anyone
