felong:Sir, I have a very concise ebook with complete details of how to start up a filling station business/gas station or even becoming a franchise. I got the ebook when I wanted learning how to get local purchase order from fuel stations in other to supply them with petroleum products. Its very detailed and easy to understand, I mean everything you need to know. I got it for 8k and willing to sell for 5k. If you're interested, check my signature for my whatsapp contact. |

Fuel is sold at #134 at refinery, while at a private depot it’s #136....transportation depends on where you’re buying from, from Warri -yenagua is 150k all your expenses.... for plus all expenses let’s say the fuel will arrive at your filling station at #141 or #140 ...if tanker drivers don’t still your fuel you’ll have an overage(excess) of about 600-800litres if you tight your pump maybe 1300litres or 1500litres that’s 217,000 You can do other calculations when you sell at #145, you can make 300,000 from each 33,000 liters ,remember you’ll fuel your gen and pay salaries...it depends on how many trucks you can sell a month,if the place is busy it’s a nice business, but people are leaving petroleum business I’ll advice you go into gas,or use the money to open small hotel and bar 4 Likes 1 Share |

danduchi:so far this is the most vital information you got from here and let me at my own.trufully,no one will say how many tanks you will sell in a month because that depend on the location of your filling station.some filling station can sell a tank in three days, some in a week, some in two weeks and some even in a month.therefore location and customers matter a a lot! 1 Like |

felong:OP, I will advise you join their union and observe things for yourself first, be a marketer, hire a tanker, get a local filling station you can sell to.. See how far you can easily buy fuel from your depot before think of your filling station. Look before you leap 4 Likes |

felong: I will suggest that you do it the Igbo way. Go and become an Apprentice at a Filling Station. Takes a bit of humility, but it is worth it. For a few number of years, depending on how fast you learn. Then start yours. You will have 99% chance at success. 2 Likes |

felong:Filling station is a really good business, but all you need is to site a good lucrative area to set up. As for your underground tanks, make sure you build with 6mm steel sheets don't accept anything less, your tankers should be built with nothing less that 4mm steel sheets. I build steel tanks and supply station pumps , so I know all that is to know. reegsconstruction@gmail.com feel free to send a an enquiry mail if you need further help. |

I have been closed to filling station for 18 years and last 2 years I was actively into it, operating a filling station that will make you sale enough trucks to make gain then you have to have over 100m. 1. You will buy land like 60m or 70m in the heart of town demolished and erect your station, then apart from that , it will be one of those stations , you see around that hardly sale one truck, a month 2. A lot of station are parking up because of govt interference in the business 3. Before you can use N15 or N 20 to sale a litter of fuel but now N5 or N6 depending on the location 4. I Will advise you go for gas station and have gas truck for hiring as well 3 Likes |

Diego1989:But the OP is asking us, strangers for business ideas. Which person puts all the details of his profitable business on the internet? Do you want to compete with the person and spoil their business? You will only get childish and untested responses here. Good luck trusting strangers that you don't even know their face. |
Re: Detailed Advice In Starting A Filling Station In Nigeria by Keemsleek005(m): 11:15am On Jan 09, 2020 |
LTRAVIS: Really fuel is sold at the refinery pls which refinery? You people should stop giving advise on what you know nothing about. Refineries don't sell fuel pls, it either you load from a private deport or nnpc deport thou they sell cheaper than private depot. The only advantage using franchise is cos the name sell just like people doing franchise under Mr Biggs and you will always load on time and might not lack product, franchise like, MRS, Mobil, con oil, fronte oil, oando. Because they all in the upstream sector and product will always be available , the problem with nnpc is there slow loading and mode of operation. And since he's at ebonyi state he will enjoy PEF if he know his way around. He will make money during scarcity and they calibrating of pumps. 1 Like |

Ikpongiton:People that suffered to setup profitable businesses, were you then when they were suffering? Now you expect the person to throw all his leads and information free for you to start as well and compete with his business tomorrow? Why so childish? As much information as may be on the general internet, there are still things that you will NEVER find there. You must suffer to experience then yourself |
