Until it is made compulsory that children of the political leaders in Nigeria attend our local universities or tertiary institutions.

I will not take government statement serious.

Most of our professors study abroad on scholarship, kindly mention any changes they have brought to our educational system except s*x for mark

Quote ASUU president. U choose not to see the sense he's making
backnbeta:
You people are deliberately being unfair to ASUU and the Nigerian educational system. You know ASUU is right on this, but you have chosen to see things only from the FG's perspective!

Normally, not a fan of Bubu’s government...
But only folks who have something to hide would seek to avoid IPPIS.

IPPIS is merely a biometric payment system...
It does NOT affect autonomy, or the so-called Triple Helix Linkage (big words from folks who cannot track their alumni).

Nonetheless, nonsensical that folks who keep running to government for funds are blabbing about autonomy...
If the universities do not depend on government for their very existence, they couldn’t be compelled into the IPPIS system.

Well, I agree with your post, and gave you a like...BUT....a big reason why university lecturers are lecturing in more than one university has a lot to do with manpower issues...we don't have enough lectuers..than anything else.

Nigeria doesn't have enough academics...meanwhile the demand for unviersity educaiton is going up. A situation where lectuers have to teach in two universites is what happens as a result.

Haa, please don't say this again! We don't have enough manpower, yet tens of thousands are clamouring for just one junior lecturer opening.

Entrepreneurship is a talent. Yes, you can learn it and improve it but, just like singing and drawing, if you don't have the talent there's a limit to how much you can improve.

Job creation opportunities lie in solving challenges...
Things that are taken for granted abroad still need to be fixed here.

BTW, I never said every graduate should be an employer...
But reality is that there are greater opportunities to create new jobs here.

Entrepreneurship is more of an instinct than a talent...
But whichever it is, it blossoms with opportunities and development.

Any properly-educated person can see multiple opportunities...
Whether they choose to pursue same or any at all is an individual choice.

Good graduates should be able to create jobs, and good graduate should not an employer is there a difference.

Creation of jobs sometimes is not the problem funds is the problem

Yes of course, there’s a difference...
First, NOT every graduate is a good graduate.

Further, the operative phrase is “should be able to” (not ‘should’)...
Thus, what a good graduate elects to do with her capacity is her prerogative.

Meanwhile, let’s not drift away from the corpus of the discussion...
The more good graduates Nigeria produces, the more likely they will create jobs!
